My cash register lady was named Shannon. I went through her line with a cat toy, priced at a dollar. She told me someone change the price it was supposed to be three dollars. I found it in the as is department. Her manager Cami backed her charging me three dollars for a cat toy after getting it home found out it had cat pee on it and that’s probably why it was priced at a dollar. I went in there today like I normally do where I was refuse service by the same cash register lady named Shannon. I done nothing wrong. They’re the ones that change the price illegally.I shop at Desert industries daily and I donate monthly. We all have choices in life, I’m thinking I am choosing never to shop at Desert industries again or donate. They don’t need my money or my stuff.

Came here and cleared out a whole rack of ? clothes. I do wish we had another location or a Savers or 2. The mens clothing area is real small compared to Provos and even Springvilles.

We always stop here on our drive through Utah. I can always find a few unicorns here when shopping. They have recently raised prices, but it is still worth a good stop.

HA! I have donated so much, hoping each and every time I go through the drive in drop off, it will be better. Nothing but rude employees. They are lucky to work there. They toss things in one giant bin disregarding value of the item. Some do not even acknowledge you as a donating customer. One in particular will not make eye contact or speak as if he absolutely hates his job! Maybe her does, so what , not my problem. I encourage people to donate to another charity or cause.

I've always been impressed by the cleanliness and easiness to find at DIs. Super happy to live close to one now. I've never had a problem with donations as long as you know the hours and follow the rules you shouldn't have a problem.

This is the worst DI I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot of them. The Manager Aaron is an awful jerk! He should NOT be a manager. I went in to exchange something and he was SO rude and disrespectful, he accused me of trying to steal from the DI, he called me names in front of everyone! I had a receipt and the item had its original tag. I will not be back! I will go to the one in Cedar City!

It's always a pleasure to visit this store. Everything is always neatly laid out and priced fairly. I always manage to find a kitchen treasure or something off the rack at this place. The employees are always ready to help and kind, which I appreciate.

Went to drop off a donation today almost an hour before the end of their donation and store hours. They said that she decided to close early and that they do that frequently and wouldn’t accept anything. Told me to come back next week. Who knows if they will be closed then as well. Other locations are great and I appreciate the work the organization does but this is just poorly ran business

Excellent place to find used items at very low prices. My wife has an illness that requires a specific type of walker. I stopped in Deseret Industries just to see if their was a chance someone had donated what I was looking for. I found the exact walker I needed and in perfect condition.Thank you Deseret Industries and thank you to the generous people who donate specialty items.

I am elderly and disabled but loaded up all my deceased husband's clothing and shoe, with much brand new including $100 shoes and $50 shirts still in packages. I looked Deserte up online and read hours and made effort to drive all the way in to leave items at their site. I was there more than half an hour before their closing. Donation sight was closed. I got a cart and started to unload items onto cart when a man came and said they were closed and did not want donations removed items I had put on cart and threw them back in my car, and said I could come back Monday.I have several lift chairs and a lot of oak furniture I was going to donate but will give them nothing now. They are rude and ungrateful. I'd rather haul everything to the dump.

I’ve been to the Deseret Industries location in North Las Vegas and the one is Saint George is of poor quality compared to the NLV location. First off, the clothing could be better organized. Second, the staff aren’t too nice. Final thing is the prices. You’d probably be happier searching through other thrift stores or consignment stores.

I have shopped at Deseret Industries for years and years. The store use to have some good deals, but not anymore. They now price their items at full retail. This is no longer a thrift store, there are no bargins here. You can get brand new, NOT USED, items at Walmart or on Amazon for a few dollars more. Their store inventory is all donated, they get it for free. Yet, they charge the public for all the $$$ they can get. I will never shop "Rip Off" Deseret Industries so called thrift store again!

It's an alright thrift store. There's plenty of variety, and some gems if you look hard enough! It's a bit pricier than most thrift stores, most things are $5-8 dollars, I pay $6 for most things. The staff isn't the friendliest, but there's plenty of dressing rooms and the place is generally clean.

It's always an adventure at the DI. Today I was astonished to see they marked the price of men's Levis jeans to $25. Yes!! Twenty-five dollars for used Levis at a thrift store!! I've been to Savers, Goodwill, St. Vincent De Paul, Paws Thrift, The Hope Chest, The Catholic Thrift Store, Switch Point Thrift, and even the local Levis Outlet and found Levis jeans for less than half of this price. $25 for Levis Jeans is pure greed for a donated item. It's not a good look for the largest thrift store in town. I love the DI, I've probably spent as much time crawling around in there as most employees, but this needs to be changed back to the old pricing. Until then we're going to be a 1 star ⭐ review.
