I just thought I'd share this experience about Cody.I've been going to Dixie lumber for the past 15 years and have always had pleasant experiences but this one stuck out.I purchased some steal from them about 4 months ago I ended up not using some of the material. Even though it was past the return date already made an exception. This is what you get when you work with a small local company people who care. I will be a customer of theirs for life.

I have never found lumber anywhere which was more cracked, splitting or warped than here at a premium cost. Makes Lowes very appealing by comparison.

I am not a customer, but had a different type of issue with Dixie Lumber.A lumber load was delivered for a house they are building across the street from mine. When informing the delivery driver that I could not have my driveway blocked, or if they could park somewhere else besides directly in the middle of the street, because of an elderly lady with dementia I take care of in my home, they couldn't care less. When calling Dixie Lumber for their help, they just told me to call the police.I would absolutely agree with all of the reviews that this business is rude, to the point of actually being a problem in the community. Please be wary of how you do business with them.

Do not support this business. Whoever is their delivery driver is an actual aggressive lunatic. Probably going to report him to the police.I saw him aggressively try and initiate conflict with a driver two cars in front of me. And cut me off I assume to get their plate before then breaking the speed limit again. Scared the hell out of me and several other drivers. Not okay!

Truly the best lumber yard in utah, you order a delivery, it will beat you to the job, pricing isn't even close, super people to work with, shop anywhere else, you must be out of your mind???

Hands down the best lumber yard in town! The best staff in town! Not many places anymore will grab the material you bought and load it in your truck or trailer for you. It is hard to find a good ole fashioned family owned store anymore! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for building material.

I have been to Dixie Lumber on numerous occasions and each time, I have not been treated with with the friendly or quality service that many claim they have had. Each time I walk in, an older gentleman begins to make faces towards me. I always assumed it was some condition he had or perhaps he was mentally challenged so I just ignored it.However, in my experience last week, the staff were more rude than usual. Still, an older employee was making faces while I tried to get my order, then, another employee was throwing the lumber I needed as harshly as he could onto my trailer, it was as if he was trying to get me leave as soon as possible, leaving me to fix and organize it. Perhaps what taunted them was my ability to speak Spanish, or maybe it frightened them. Regardless, I had my receptionist contact the owner Ron and tried to file a complaint to which the owner responded "I don't want you guys in my store ever again." My receptionist asked for an explanation to which Ron responded "I don't need to go there and get mad again." He offered no explanation.I might suggest I was a victim of discrimination, and I may file a discrimination complaint with the state, or I may just ignore this incident like I ignored the man who made faces towards me.They have lost my business, the business of other contractors I work with, and hopefully any future business of others.

The quality of their lumber is not nearly as good as home depot or sun roc. Waste of time and money.

I went to Home Depot to get some 1x4’s. I found 4 out of the whole bunch that I could use to make these benches, that is Four! Out of the whole bunch that was not warped, rotted, wholes, just bad. I needed 40. I was at a loss and a friend recommended Dixie Lumber and I met Ron Stewart. He took care of me in a few seconds and I was home building. I thought that place was only for professionals but found they would even except this City boy doing a weekend project, saved my day!
