Good luck buying anything from there the place is a ghost town... I pressed their button for service and nothing happened and then today same thing but she was sitting on her phone hiding behind product and ignored multiple people standing at the cash register waiting to pay for there stuff I just left my stuff on the counter and went somewhere else this place is a joke hire people that work or pay people more so they will do their damn job im guessing they get paid minimum wage thats why they dont give a crap

GREETINGS & GOOD MORNING.
I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE TODAY WITH THE DOLLAR GENERAL MANAGER OF THE STORE.I BELIEVE THERE'S ALOT OF PEOPLE AGREEING WITH ME AROUND THE COMMUNITY.
I WENT TODAY TO PURCHASE FOOD TO KEEP MYSELF HYDRATED THROUGHOUT THE DAY WHILE STUDYING FOR THE MILITARY ENTRANCE EXAM.
IN THE LIBRARY THAT I GO ON A DAILY BASIS FOR THE PAST DAYS I HAVE BEEN IN TOWN. I AM A HUMBLE HUMAN BEING THAT IS TRYING TO FIT ALONG WITH THE COMMUNITY. I HAD LOST MY EBT CARD & PREVIOUS DAYS THEY HAVE BEEN ASSISTING ME WITH MY EBT CARD TO PAY MANUALLY TO BUY SNACKS.
WELL, TODAY WASN'T ONE OF THOSE DAYS. BUT I AS A CUSTOMER UNDERSTAND. THINGS GOT A LITTLE TENSE WHEN SHE ACTED DISRESPECTFUL BY SAYING THAT I SHOULD'VE HAD THE CARD BEFORE COMING INTO THE STORE.
WELL YOUNG LADY. EVERYONE HAS GOOD DAYS, BAD DAYS & TERRIBLE DAYS. IF MINE IS NOT GOING WELL WHY WOULD I COME OUT OF CONTEXT & DISRESPECT YOU ON THE SAME LEVEL.
I HOPE THE OWNER IS WATCHING THIS REVIEW. BECAUSE, IT MEANS A LOT. IF CUSTOMERS DON'T BUY YOUR BUSINESS FRANCHISE AIN'T MAKING MONEY. WE CUSTOMERS ARE TO BE TREATING WITH TLC (TREATMENT LOVE & CARE).
I CAME BACK INTO THE STORE TO LET YOUR GENERAL MANAGER KNOW THAT YOUR STORE WILL BE IN THE LINKEDIN PLATFORM ACCOUNT POSTED AS BAD REVIEW IN WHICH I TEND TO HAVE ONE FOR THE TOP COOPERATES.NOTHING THREATENING NOR ANY KIND OF WRONG ON MY END WAS DONE.YOUR MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT.
WHEN BUSINESS OWNERS LIKE YOURSELF TEND TO COMMUNICATE WE HAVE A PLATFORM FOR ISSUES. BUT I WASN'T ABLE TO FIND YOU ON THE LINKEDIN PLATFORM ACCOUNT.
YOUR GENERAL MANAGER HAS NOT BEEN POLITE. THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS.
IF YOU NEED SOMEONE TO WORK FOR YOU I WILL BE GLAD TO HELP...

EVERYONE STRUGGLES IN LIFE IT WAS MORE EASIER TO ASK FOR AN ID & EBT PICTURE AS EVIDENCE THAT I AM THE EBT CARD HOLDER OF THE ACCOUNT.
I AM ALSO A BUSINESS LICENSED MAN. YOUR GENERAL MANAGER DON'T KNOW HOW TO DE ESCALATE A SITUATION & DOESN'T KNOW THE MEANING OF CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.

Dollar general has been looking amazing lately. I noticed when there was change of management, I believe her name is Amaya. She has been doing an amazing job. I love coming in and seeing the neighborhood store looking great and inviting. It gives our community a sense of pride. I also love the team there from names I know Sherry and Vianna. Everyone is so great and I'm fortunate to have known them the last couple years. But big ups to Amaya! Business woman!

Well 1 product tagged clearly marked for the mtdew 2liter 5 for 5 wasn't ringing up , had 1 manager show up and yes she can see whith her 2 eyes it's clearly marked, she wanted to argue I told her legally she has to sale it for said posted price , I get the register said manager is bad mouthing me saying I was rude and ignorant she not realizing I'm standing right there I correct her she completely caught off guard I was standing right there continued to become irate and unprofessional and said these men will take advantage , I said is it bothering you a man is right, she then said I don't fill comfortable , I feel scared told me I was tress passed from the store she called a sheriff on his personal number proceeded to record me.

This place needs to be shut down long enough they can stock the shelfs and clean the floors. Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting when the employees are standing outside smoking and standing behind the register instead of stocking the shelfs. Just a nightmare inside there!!!

This place is such a disaster. You can’t walk down the isles. Nothing is ever put away and you can’t even get to the shelves. Stuff is all over the floors. Use to love this store but it has gone to hell……

I hope someone in corporate sees this! I’ve tried to report it to corporate just to go around in circles. This store is disgusting. The “cheaper “ prices aren’t worth it when there is so many stores around this area. This looks like a store in the middle of Compton not Saint George. Then when I check out the girl at the counter was just on her phone. Taken 3/13/2024

I wonder who manages this dollar general. Total mess !!! Shocking they don’t care. My last trip there, then I went to the fridges for a drink, there I saw a crate full of perishables ( sour cream etc.) ? while a guy was stocking and unloading dry goods. No priorities on this madness

I felt liked I walked into a war zone. There was trash and boxes, and junk all over the floors. Store was an absolute mess! It looked like nobody was running the place!

Good as ever! Got in, got out quick. They had what I went for and a lot of them so I was very excited. In other words..... Boy did I get carried away and bought so much good stuff.
