The location for Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club is simply stunning and breathtaking upon first glance. This place has extensive facilities for residents and guests alike, with a resort like feel. Two years ago we had booked The Inn at Entrada, which is simply marvelous (more about this in my separate review on the Inn's page "The Inn at Entrada"). Unfortunately the entire golf course was going through a complete re-design and apparently was complete April 2022. We noticed there was a golf promotion going for September, and figured it would be a perfect opportunity to come back and relax, and for my husband to finally try out the golf course. Turns out the pro shop had a promotion running while they were doing repairs on the golf course and no one could book during that time. I'm kind of perplexed on why the pro shop would run a promotion when they weren't allowing anyone to book. We ended up having to completely switch around our vacation and book over a month later to be able to book any golf tee times. Even still, tee times were sparse - turns out they only have 4 tee times per day for non-residents and it's only mid day. Tee times are only for residents and guests of the Inn. Golf is closed on Mondays and you can't play the first day of your reservations at the Inn. I was hoping the worst was behind us.. unfortunately it was not. Good thing I called closer to our visit date, because they had changed the tee times around on us. I had to make 3 calls and one send e-mail to the pro shop to finally get a confirmation of times as they had never sent me the e-mail confirmation in the first place. On the first day of golf, the tee time was moved back 10 minutes, no big deal. They started my husband out with his own golf cart (I might add their tee times include a cart that you pay for as part of the price), only to tell him to hop in with another gentleman at the start of the game (and move all his gear over). My husband and the other gentleman were paired with complete golf novices, who were not prepared to keep pace with the game. The group ended up lagging so far behind because of the couple they were paired with (the novices), that the ranger came out to give them all grief. Unfortunately the ranger did nothing to assess why the issue was occurring, but rather it just made for a hostile environment. Pace of play is really fast, this is not a course a novice should attempt. Unfortunately even if you are a good player, you may most definitely be paired with someone who is not due to the lack of tee time availability. On the second day of golf my husband asked to play alone or at least with a separate cart to avoid the same situation that he had experienced the day before. Apparently Snow Canyon doesn't allow such things in spite of having what seemed like endless carts on standby. Seems kind of absurd to pay for a cart and have to share with a complete stranger. The other problem lies with how the course sets up tee times for non-residents, they put you mid day. There are no exceptions to this either, and the staff spent their time rushing everyone around so they aren't in the way of the residents. While I understand the residents are top priority, there's nothing worse than feeling like a second class citizen when they charge the same as every other course in the area. Also, having the staff spend more time ensuring guests are enjoying their stay would be helpful also, but that is clearly not the priority here. The course itself was in playable condition, but still appears to be under construction in spite of claiming construction was complete in April 2022. There are many holes with incomplete areas, landscaping that is still under construction, and really rough spots throughout the course. The best part of the course believe it or not is the practice area, which is extensive. The actual 18 hole game play left a lot to be desired and not only felt rushed, but the whole experience felt poorly organized. I now understand why everyone we speak to says Black Desert Resor

The surroundings of the course are truly spectacular but the course itself was not in good shape making it low value for the $250/person fee. In addition to play you have to stay at the Inn at Entrada, a very overpriced, low service Troon property.

Spa massage by Wendy is very good if you are looking for a massage that works out you stress knots and or sore tires joints. The gym indoor and outdoor pools are fantastic as well. Beautiful views of your visiting and the food is great too. I recommend to visitors staying.at the inn. It is a private club so call in advance for reservations for all services.

Definitely a 5 star facility....The best practice facility in town! The course just recently re-opened after some modifications and irrigation upgrades and is in excellent shape.Play it by all means if you get the chance as is it is a private course.

This is a very unfortunate review that I have to write. My fiancé and I are looking for Venues to have our special day. We initially got in touch with Carrie the Event coordinator of the site, since we are from out of town and have never been to Entrada before we were looking forward to meeting with her to be shown around and talk about pricing and booking. We scheduled to meet with her, and unfortunately we were pond off to her assistant Kristine. We were told during our visit on Saturday with Kristine that we had several days to decide on a date that was available and get back to them by Tuesday to book the date we wanted. We took our time to think about our date we wanted and worked with Venders to make sure our venders were available and scheduled. Tuesday comes around and we want to secure the Venue with Entrada and Carrie then emails us telling us that her GM has booked an event for Club Members for that date and we're sorry for the inconvenience. Because of this lack of communication between all people involved we are now having to choose a different Venue. We have been searching for professionalism and a beautiful venue for months now, this is our 7th Venue to visit. We thought we found the place, but now we must continue to search. My advise to anyone looking for an Event Venue with this place, make sure to lock it in before you leave so you don't get disappointed like we did because of the GM.

We stayed at the Inn and played golf twice at the course. This is a really fun course with just enough target golf to be interesting. The course is being renovated during the coming year--I hope they don't change it too much as it was a great experience. We had dinner at the Grill twice. If you enjoy country club dining--we do--it was perfect. We dined outside largely due to covid concerns but the views made the experience all the better. Food was great--again, country club cuisine. Wine is fairly priced and corkage was reasonable. Service was great with local staff proud of what they were doing. We recommend the course and restaurant.

The course is advertised as a 5-star golf facility. I gave it a solid 4-stars because the maintenance of the tee boxes and greens could have been better. There are definitely players dragging their spikes on the greens, un-repaired divots on the tee boxes and the water irrigation could have been better. There were standing water on some of the fairways. I understand irrigation issues are some of the issues they are hoping to fix when they close the course in November 2020. The staff was great and our Starter Ben was fantastic. Not sure if I would play the course again since there are so many other golf courses to choose from in St George.

Entrada is a very nice but challenging course. All the staff was fantastic and very accommodating. Nice Pro shop not huge but nice . The front 9 was tough but not as challenging as the back 9 . Very pretty setting with the lush green fairways and the contrast of the Red Rock and the Black Lava rock.Very enjoyable experience. The only negative is that the members need to repair their divots on the greens. GREAT DAY OF GOLF!!
