McKenzie is amazing! I drive from Cedar city to St. George every few weeks, to have her do my highlights and low lights. The first time I came to the Salon I was in crisis. I had two bad episodes with a stylist here in town. The last episode ruined my hair. I walked into Essence, and had a short consultation with McKenzie right on the spot. She came up with a plan, and I made an appointment for the next week. McKenzie is a miracle worker! My hair looked amazing and I received tons of compliments. We have a plan of action to get my hair back to its natural state, and McKenzie has hit the mark each visit. I highly recommend McKenzie. Not only is she great with color, and resurrecting fried hair, she is warm, welcoming, and a great communicator.

McKenzie Perry is amazing!
I recently moved to St. George and was nervous about finding a new hairstylist. After calling around, I decided to trust my gut and book with McKenzie at Essence Hair Salon—and I’m SO glad I did! She really took the time to listen to my vision, paying attention to every little detail, and the result is exactly what I imagined. I’m beyond happy with my hair and so grateful I trusted my intuition. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Essence salon! Kamry has been doing my hair for almost 4 years now and I won’t go to anyone else. I also live in salt lake now and will continue to drive to St. George just to come here. The atmosphere is amazing. The salon is always clean and has good energy and Kamry always gives me exactly what I am looking for. I have gone multiple different shades of red, brown and blonde over the time and love all of them. If you are looking for a hair salon in St. George, this is it!

I have been getting my hair cut by Josh Evans for 5 years along with my mother as well. He does an amazing job and he is an amazing and fun person. We look forward to being in his chair and talking. In addition, my most recent visit I went out to my car to find a flat tire. Long story short Josh ended up coming out along with the man who was in his seat and they changed my tire so I could get to where I needed to to get it fixed. I consider Josh not only my stylist but my friend

Alix is the only one I trust to work on my hair. When I decided I wanted to change things up with my hair and try something new, she was amazing and keeping in contact when I had questions or helping me narrow down exactly what I wanted to do when I was indecisive and nervous. Alix is also really good at connecting with her clients. My appointment took some time because of how much hair I have, but I never felt bored because Alix was great at making conversation. When it came to hair care after we were done, she was able to answer all my questions and had really good recommendations for upkeep.
If you are looking for someone to work on your hair, I HIGHLY recommend Alix at this salon.
