I rent cars regularly from Hertz and the team at Saint George Airport are fantastic!BEWARE of fraudulent charges from the guy at the Bluff St. Store.I went to get the rental last week and he told me he did NOT have the “electric vehicle” I had reserved:1. I did NOT reserve an electric vehicle.2. He up-charged me for NOT having the car he said I reserved….I could not argue with him because I needed the car. Normally, if you rent a vehicle and they do not have it, they will upgrade you at no charge as it was their error.When I returned the vehicle, nobody was at the store even though it was business hours. Thankfully I checked my card as they again up-charged me for a “pet” fee. I DID NOT have a pet in the vehicle.When I called Hertz, the lady said I may have had pet hair on my clothing…WHAT?! That is a scam.At the end of the day, Hertz corrected these things and I appreciate that but I am concerned the team at Bluff St. takes advantage of people that may not even know.Rent from the Hertz STG airport, they are great.

1 star is generous. Should have read Hertz reviews prior to using them. I will NEVER use Hertz again!!! TERRIBLE experience. Hertz manager told us to get lost and he didn't need our business, when he was called out on a billing error. I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. HIGHLY doubtful that Hertz will do anything to change and that this feedback will fall on deaf ears.

I made a reservation with Hertz to drive down to Vegas for a flight I had scheduled. They called me the morning of my reservation to let me know they had sold out of cars and they couldn’t honor it. This left me no time to change flight plans.The representative proceeded to tell me that it was in the “terms and conditions” that any reservation made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup was not guaranteed.I canceled my flight, and booked a much more expensive for a different day.When I asked what my options were for rebooking the guy I was talking to couldn’t care less about my situation and was super unhelpful.Perhaps he was just new and lacked training in customer service and professionalism. Regardless, Hertz can do better!

Our friends were told they could pick up the car they rented at 11:30. We arrived 30 minutes early. No one in the office. He called the number and was told they couldn't pick up the car until noon. The Hertz employee was very rude on the phone. Told him if we didn't like the time, go get another car somewhere else. Very poor customer service.

For starters, the guy who checked us in is a complete f***ing a**hole. He should NOT be behind a counter doing any type of customer service. I didn't catch his name, but you'll know who I'm talking about if you get as unlucky as I was and have to deal with him.The car we got is dented all over. He definitely didn't make it a point for us to document everything. The rate we were quoted continually kept rising every second I stood at the counter. I did get it down to the original quote price but I know he kept adding things as if I wouldn't notice.I specifically asked if the car had been smoked in - more than once. He told me no several times. Sure enough, this car has no doubt been smoked in. Overly annoyed by everything at this point. Never will I rent a car here again.

0 stars if I had the option:WORST place ever to rent a car, the customer service is really BAD. I was on the phone with them trying to understand why I didn’t receive my down deposit back, the guy that answered my call got very angry on the phone and started to yelled at me. I wasn’t able to understand him most of his frustration because of his strong accent. He then accused me for yelling back at him when I was on the phone just asking him a simple question. He didn’t even help me, he tells me to call a number to go ask them and take my problem to them, and that his busy working. Never in my life I had a really BAD experience with something worst like this. The end of the call he didn’t help me nor he tried to. I would NEVER recommend this place to any renters, this location. I know there are other great locations out there but not this location. Very rude workers, they need to get retrain. It all started when I went in to rent a car then it got worse after.

Rented a car and returned it as instructed, with the same amount of fuel. We returned the car and parked it on a slope in front of the establishment, the only place TO park it. The Hertz attendant never placed the car on a flat surface and to check the fuel level, consequently he charged us $18.70, for 1/8 of a tank of fuel, in and 11 gallon tank. Do NOT do business here or with Hertz, this is a horrible business practice, and frankly, theft. Dirtbags to the fullest.

Drove two hours to discover upon arrival that they don’t accept my card, and refused to accept another two cards. Would have been nice to know that in advance so I wouldn’t have wasted the time and gas to get here. I stepped out for 5 minutes, and when I returned with a solution, the door was locked in my face and told they operate by appointment only. Absolutely despicable customer service. I needed help today and no help was to be found. I recommend selecting any other auto rental place other than Hertz for your needs. Hertz is a complete waste of time.

Do not use go else where. Canceled to rebook a different pick up time and still charged me a cancellation fee. Like a week before the actual rental SMH

This was a horrible rental. I wasn't told that I needed to bring the car back spotless or I would be charged $75. I also wasn't told that I would be charged $200 location change fee. I spoke to two different people and neither one bothered to mention this just said you can return the car no problem or questions asked. I will never rent from them again.

Absolutely TERRIBLE service...no one at the service desk, no one from the business in the same office offered to help, found a number to call, called and got the run around where the net outcome was a colossal gap in rendering any thing remotely resembling customer service.

The employee was very dishonest. I asked for an SUV with 4 Wheel Drive. He said he would get one then asked me to sign the contract. Once I signed he said, actually this car doesn't have 4 wheel drive. Hope that's okay. He then took us out to the car. It was a small ford hatchback. The same size as a compact car. Definitely not an SUV. At that point we had already signed the contract and paid the upgrade fee. Totally not okay.

I have rented from a thousand locations, unfortunately this location is the closest to my home and I had to use them this one time. I have never, in all of customer service history experienced more harassment, and interrogation than from the one and only guy that works this location. Not only is he incredible lazy and unprofessional, he is very rude and aggressive. He questioned my work after providing evidence of being employed and called me half way into my trip to tell me I couldn’t use that corporate code because he looked into it and “verified I’m not an employee” when I literally gave him proof. I don’t know how a hertz employee would “verify” my job.Anyways even for me, after looking at the awful reviews, I said to myself “walk in with as little questions as possible and you’re fine”. Don’t be like me and use an enterprise location while in St George. Also a heads up, the St George airport location is ran by the father of the guy who runs this location. Like father like son. This has been an awful experience.

We rented a car at 5 minutes to 5 when they close. The manager, obviously of Indian decent was rude and offensive. We rented for four days at an extremely high price f about 650 dollars. We were told that if we returned the car in three days we would only have to pay for three days. We returned the car theee days later at 5 o'clock. The ignorant and rude manager refused to allow us to return the car. We needed 5 minutes to unload it. He said he had to go he didn't have time to wait. He told us to park the car on the lot and put the keys in the drop box. So we got charged another day. Then instead of leaving he went into his office and sat there the whole time. If I would not have been arrested I would have put him in the ER!! Hertz us a POS!!
