I used to love going here. However the prices are insane. $25 for a no name used hoodie and $450 for a worn sectional couch. I will not be shopping there anymore unfortunately.

I had a great time in this store and picked up several pieces that would have cost me $40 on Amazon! Beautiful dishes and silverware. Everyone was extremely polite and very helpful; I didn't see any employee be "rude or short" with anyone in the store. I'm very grateful that this shop is here. You won't be disappointed! Best place for kitchenware.

This is HANDS DOWN the best thrift store in St. George Utah! I’m a huge tea fan and love to collect tea cups, saucers, kettles, etc. And I went to about 3 thrift stores and they were either to expensive, or just ugly. But when I went to the hope chest, I immediately saw so many sets that were not expensive, and very cute. I ended up with 4 cups and 4 saucers of the same pattern, aswell as 4 other pattered cups! For only 15$!! The employlee’s were great and the cups were cute and cheap! I will be coming again!

Magical. We adore this cute little thrift store. My kids love the 25 cents vhs tapes. The craft supplies are a lot of fun. We've found some fun fabric there. We found Legos before and art. The clothes are always fun. Books prices are great. We've gotten some really cool DK books before for $2. Their jewelery selection is pretty amazing. Limited selection of kids clothes but good assortment of adult clothing.
The prices are fantastic and we love it there.
Just know they are serious about closing time. At 15 minutes to close they turn down the lights.

This used to be such a fun place with great prices when they were downtown. Their prices have gotten really high for a thrift store.

Cute thrift store, customer service was below par to say the very least. Went in with my girlfriend looking for some books to thrift. First time being there we didn’t know what the prices were and we picked up one book and went to checkout. The lady working at checkout seemed very friendly to the customer before us but when we walked up to pay. It was a complete flipped behavior. She made a rude comment saying “next time bring in the exact change.” With no signs showing that was the rule, as well as we had no idea how much we were getting, this comment was unnecessary. As I was leaving I had said “Have a nice day” and she just stared at me with no response.

Cute thrift store, I was having a good time until I went to check out. It was my first time in store, and I had no idea how much their prices would be, I ended up getting a 50 cent book. When I went to checkout, I went to pay with card and the woman working the register gave me a snarky comment saying “How about next time you bring in the 50 cents.”. This caught me a bit off guard seeing as I saw no sign stating that I couldn’t pay with a card below a certain price. My boyfriend ended up paying for me, and when he told her to have a good day she didn’t reply.

Update: they took my advice and children's games are now open to inspection prior to purchasing.
Hope Chest is a fraction of the size of D.I. and Switchpoint yet I always find the best gems there. The wonderful people that work there are always pleasant.
One of the better thrift stores in Southern Utah with the exception of one thing that really bugs me. I like to purchase games to play with my grandson when he comes over. They seal their used games and have a sign forbidding opening them to count the pieces and make sure everything is there. Twice I've bought games that were incomplete and therefore not playable and one that have dog hair and dirt inside.
If volunteers don't have the time to make sure the games are complete, then customers should have the option to open them before purchasing no matter how inexpensive the game is.
Besides that, I like Hope Chest and have found a few gems there. The employees are great too.

Nice staff, good prices and an amazing cause! As someone who had a hard time in their pregnancy pain wise, I appreciated seeing that they had expectant mother parking ??
Big thrifter here and was sad to move to a city that doesn’t have a Savers; however, I think I found my new place to shop in just one visit! I was so excited about all my finds and only spent $25! They even bagged up my items in a reusable bag for no extra charge. I’ll be coming back for sure!

NEVER donate here ever again!! I pop in once a week, I see volunteers wearing clothes I donated, my husband donated an air compressor and a hand held shark with all attachments, both are being used in the back AND the icing on the cake is I donated a small black velvet display case with a dozen or so costume jewelry rings, I'm sure they never made to the display case as I've seen volunteers wearing them. Shame on you!!

Not really a thrift store but a decor boutique. Most shelved items priced $11 or $69.I understand the cause that they support but thus is not a typical thrift. If you are going to price based on eBay, use actual sold prices, not adding prices OR sell items there.

Located in downtown St. George, this good-sized thrift store offers plenty of bargains to benefit a great cause. The store is well organized, clean, and the pricing is clear. There are deals to be found on brand namemerch, depending on the department. When we dropped by on a week day, the parking lot was packed with cars and customers could be found with armfuls of treasures found at the Hope Chest. Donations are received out back and seasonal items can be found up front and center. I bought a cookbook for $1 and a DVD for $2.
