Not really a thrift store but a decor boutique. Most shelved items priced $11 or $69.I understand the cause that they support but thus is not a typical thrift. If you are going to price based on eBay, use actual sold prices, not adding prices OR sell items there.

Located in downtown St. George, this good-sized thrift store offers plenty of bargains to benefit a great cause. The store is well organized, clean, and the pricing is clear. There are deals to be found on brand namemerch, depending on the department. When we dropped by on a week day, the parking lot was packed with cars and customers could be found with armfuls of treasures found at the Hope Chest. Donations are received out back and seasonal items can be found up front and center. I bought a cookbook for $1 and a DVD for $2.

Beautiful! The most care and thoughtfulness I have ever seen put into a thrift store. Its items are perfectly arranged, and the prices are quite reasonable. Many quality items. Everything about the Hope Chest conveys love and care. A wonderful ministry.

The Hope Chest , when they first opened was so much fun. You could find treasures that were fair priced and you could feel like you got a deal. Unfortunately the last several months have not been that way. Some of the items have been way overpriced. If I find something with the sticker gone I try and ask someone to mark it. I have nothing negative to say about the staff. I always receive good customer service. I hope they will realize that their items are overpriced and that people that like to go to thrift store want a bargain.

Poor customer service skills. I had picked a bunch stuff out and because a pair of chopsticks didn’t have a price tag on it they refused to even offer a price or sale them to me. So I refused to purchase anything. They are pricing based on internet sales of items. But come on a pair wooden chopsticks couldn’t even quote a price. SMH.

Volunteer people are rude say they are closed at 10 minutes before 6:00 pm! My donations will no longer be sent to them nor give them donations at the store. They are getting Greedy also have items from dollar store marked $2.00 as well other items marked above the original store price. Seriously you be better off shopping at Ross getting brand new for Less.

It’s very frustrating to be told at 5:50 and again at 5:53 to stop shopping. We were in such a hurry anyway and only planned to be there a total of 5 minutes. The store was supposed close at 6:00. Such a shame for such a great store.

On Saturday June 3, 2023 , I took to the Hope Chest my husbands clothing to be donated. As I handed off all the bags to the young man working that morning , it was especially hard for me as I had lost my husband to Leukemia. A wave of grief hit me. I realized I would never again see my wonderful husband in those clothes. As I got in my car to drive off I had to pause for a moment to get some semblance of control before I drove. As I sat there a lady whose name is Pam, witnessed my struggle and came immediately to give me her condolences and a hug. She talked with me and thanked me for sharing his clothes with the Hope Chest. I will never forget her kindness and compassion . I want to thank her again . What an asset she is to the Hope Chest.
