“Great place to stay. My only complaint would be that they don’t provide bottles of water in the rooms and hand soap for the bathroom. Other than that the staff is great and the breakfast with made to order omelette is wonderful.”

“I’ve stayed here a couple of times when attending a convention as the location is really handy, and I’m a Hyatt loyalist. It is walking distance for the convention center. Rooms are really nice and clean. I had a king room, clean, nice seating area, clean bathroom, etc. breakfast was good but I think Hyatt Place everywhere in the USA need to improve their coffee game. The breakfast coffee tasted like it was sitting for several hours, and when I got mine at 8am it was really toward the end of the pot and needed changing out. The room coffee is generic. Though I did notice some Starbucks taps, behind the bar for cold brew and nitro Starbucks. I didn’t try them, as I wanted hot coffee. I think Hyatt places need to improve their in room, coffee, machine, and brand other than that no complaints. I bring my own portable coffee maker and coffee and will continue to stay here when I’m St. George Utah. Limited good food options within walking distance in this area so delivery apps may be your friend if you don’t have a car.Safety: I felt very safe here and walking around the hotel. Also felt safe.Walkability: I was here for convention, so it was very walkable and easy to get to the convention center. There’s a burger, restaurant next-door in the Holiday Inn and a Cracker Barrel within walking distance.”

“Stay for the people that run the hotel. Seriously the nicest hotel staff I have ever had. They were crazy accommodating for our group. Lisa, the night manager was AMAZING! She was organized, made sure our group was taken care of and took care of everything we needed. I have stayed at higher end hotels but never a place that had nicer staff. Will book here again without a doubt.”

“I really liked being in this hotel, it's clean, the staff is very nice, kind, the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is included in the hotel price. Very good, there was a choice - eggs, bacon, sausages, cheese and potatoes, waffles, I liked it.”

“Stayed here for 2 nights for a family funeral and it was the easiest to book. On the first night I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay at the hotel or just stay with relatives, but then decided to stay at the hotel last minute. I was able to do a walk in stay and booked for an extra stay at the same room last minute. The front desk agent was very helpful and informative. Not sure if there’s any elevator or not as I didn’t see one when going to the second floor where my room was at. Even if there’s no elevator the walk way up to the 2nd floor is wheelchair accessible but you can also take the stairs to get to the 2nd floor. The room was spacious and they also have breakfast in the morning. The pool is right across from the front desk lobby it closes at 10pm. The hotel also has a indoor pool that connects to the outdoor pool(with heater). They also have a billiard table that you can play at with your family, they also have a pickball and mini golf outside. The AC and Heater works great. The room has a microwave, refrigerator, a work desk and chair, and another padded chair with ottoman. This hotel is close to a lot of stores and also has a McDonald right across and a gas station close by. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Don’t ask me why but I have always held this passive belief to avoid Motel 6 like that crazy ex-gf while she’s on her cycle.

So tell me why this was lowkey one of the most fun experiences I’ve had while traveling?

Yami at the front desk was amazing: friendly, super cute (she has a bf I asked) and incredibly service oriented. She even made special accommodations for me, giving me an extra bed at no charge and relocating my room downstairs so I didn’t need to lug all 4 suitcases up the stairwell.

Don’t get me wrong: this is still Motel 6. The police were in the parking lot two different times during my 24 hours here (actually), the room had that feeling of college dorm crossed with a walk-in closet, and the beds were nearly as comfy as the cardboard bedroom displays at Bed Bath and Beyond.

But, as a global traveler under many different economic circumstances, this is far from the worst experience I’ve ever had. In fact, it was nearly fun.

Thanks Yami!”

“Its the cheapest motel in St. George but I wasn't expecting stained sheets and hair strands all over. It didnt feel safe at all. There was a guy talking crazy to himself outside and people talking loudly as late as 2am...on top of that you can hear everything outside. I think they have regulars who live there so they act like everyone is their literal neighbor so much so an old man was knocking on the next door person's door at 6am to say good morning. People sit outside their rooms like its their front porch in fact when i first went to my room there was a old folgers tub that someone used for their cigarette butts and an old coffee cup outside my door.”
