If I could give this place no stars I would. My car kept stalling on me and I brought my car in and was basically told they could not do electrical repairs on it and the had my car parked out front so I took my car somewhere else. The staff was not friendly and I received horrible service. Do not take your car here!

I call before service asking if they worked on diesel trucks. I was told yes. I said I had already replaced the starter & alternator & the batteries were still good but couldn't get the vehicle & not to replace them. a month later I was told I owed $800 & they had replaced the starter & alternator but couldn't get the vehicle running. & that they don't work very much on diesel trucks. Not happy

My car overheated right as we pulled into St George after a long drive from Idaho. My normal shop was booked out, but suggested Wright Automotive as another choice. They were able to get me in the next day, and knowing I was leaving town, worked hard to get it fixed the same day.

I called for an appointment to have these guys give me an estimate for replacing the brakes on my truck. I dropped it off midday and they called me back very quickly with an estimate (which was almost exactly what I figured it would be for new pads and rotors all the way around). Before the end of business the same afternoon, they called to say the work was done and I could come pick up the truck! This was my second experience with this shop and both have been excellent.

Great service and a super great job. I am so pleased with the service I had completed on my 1996 dodge truck. They fixed the steering issue, adjusted the valves, repaired the air condition problem and many other small items. Our truck runs like brand new with over 380 miles on our truck. I highly recommend Wright Automotive and will take all my vehicles to them when repairs or service is needed.

I jumped the gun giving them a 5 star review. My love for this shop was short lived. I took my cars exclusively to Wright for a couple years thinking they were good and honest. Oftentimes when I was getting something substantial done on my car, I'd leave my car there and they could get to it when they had time. When I bought a "new" car I brought it to them to have the pre-purchase inspection done. They gave me the go ahead and said it was mechanically sound. Transmission went out not long after that. I left it with them the first time I had issues and when I picked it up after hours, the back passenger door had about 8 dings in it in the same area. Looked as if someone hit it with some mysterious item repeatedly. I called and left a message immediately and when they got back to me they basically said too bad. When I took the car to them to replace the transmission, I left it with them again for quite a few days. Every day it was at the shop I drove by just to check and make sure it was locked when the shop was closed. It was always parked right in front of their door. The day I went to pick it up we noticed it was moved to a spot, I later found out, where their cameras magically can't see and had been broken into with my touch screen stereo stolen. Other stuff was stolen as well. Once again I called them immediately and when they finally got back to me it was the same crap with oh well, nothing we can do. I spoke to someone else that works in the same complex that told me cars are broken into and stolen often from there pretty frequently, so, probably don't want to ever leave your car with them if you trust them to work on it.

I trust these guys with all my vehicles. I feel like their pricing is fair and they take pride in the work they do. They want it to be right.

I love a family-owned business and it's so fun to see Joe Junior and Senior along with brother Chris really growing their business! We started bringing our vehicles nearly a decade ago, these guys deliver the bad news about needing to get my vehicles repaired in the best way possible, and always get it done fast and correct the first time. 5 stars!

A while back I took my little beater Dodge neon for my air conditioning pulley freezing up on me. Took it in because I had brought my car in for a few other things and was beginning to trust these guys. They check it out and tell me it's going to cost me $800 to completely rebuild and flush the air conditioner. Father is a mechanic in Cali so I call him up and he tells me "throw a smaller belt on and bypass it, you don't NEED the a/c pulley don't spend $800 on a car you have a year or two left with" I turn around and ask if we could do what my father recommended and got "absolutely not you need a rebuild and they don't make smaller belts to do that, maybe we could bypass the pulley with a mock pulley but we gotta order that and that'll cost $$$ much". I took it home squealing belt and all, got some string, measured the belt size to bypass the pulley with said string, bought a belt at O'Reilly's for $15. Youtube'd how to remove and replace the belt myself and fixed it. I haven't been back Wright auto since. Very likeable guys and good service when they're honest. Too bad.

I took my car in to have the axle replaced. The very next day on my way to Cedar City the axle completely failed. I contacted the company and they gave me a phone number for a warranty company. The warranty company was able to get me to a shop in Cedar City who replaced the failed axle. I am giving one star for a few reasons but the primary reason is I felt they didn't provide a good service after the axle failed. I was stuck on the side of I-15 with only the phone number for a warranty company. They should have had better customer service. I understand an axle can fail so I don't blame them for that, but once it failed my expectations are higher than what was received.

We love Wright Automotive! Can't sing their praises enough. Fair prices, timely service, and good, honest people. Every time we called, usually wanting a last minute appointment, they did not hesitate to take us. We have since moved to California, but I am seriously tempted to drive my cars back up to St. George just to give these guys my business and to have the peace of mind that I am not going to be screwed over.
