DISHONEST!!! We booked Motel 6 through Hotels.com Mar 2025 for 3 nights for $301.19 to pay at the hotel. Motel 6 charged our credit card for $319.41 and refused to refund the difference. Hotels.com has even tried to work with them, and they still won't refund. I know it's not a large amount, but it's the principle of it. Do not trust Motel 6 to not charge you more than what you have booked through the external websites! They also were not running the A/C, and it was hot.

We were very disappointed in the condition of the room. We asked for a non smoking room and it smelled like musty cigarettes. The bathroom was missing shampoo/conditioner and the toilet paper was only like 1/2 of a roll. We had to ask for more and the attendant did bring us a few rolls. Very friendly. The bathroom door would not close all the way there was moisture that had made it expand. Walls were filthy. The bathroom floor was soft and would sink if you stood on it. I would not recommend staying here if you help it.

I’ve stayed here several times and there always seems to be some kind of an issue. This time it was the showerhead didn’t work so I couldn’t take a shower and they offered me another room so that I could take a shower last minute before I checked out. I was never offered a discount or refund as I should have been under the circumstances
Update: just stayed again and this time in room 113. That’s the room i had to use last time to take a shower since they don’t check out the rooms to make sure everything is working. This room had no A/C working so I had to open the refrigerator to get a little bit of coolness. Was in a hurry next morning and the owner is never available. I ask and am told he isn’t there and no numerous to reach him. The place is falling apart. It’s on the cheaper side but should at least work. Very disappointed.

I was very dissatisfied with my stay. I booked a non-smoking room for a two-week stay while between apartment leases, but upon arrival, the room had a strong smoke odor. The only available alternative was upstairs, so I had to move my dog, cat, and all of my belongings myself. One afternoon, the air conditioning stopped working, and I had to leave for work. Since I could not leave my pets in the sweltering heat, I had to pay for dog care.
Housekeeping only came once—on the morning after I moved in—while I was asleep after working a night shift. For the remainder of my stay, no one came to clean, change sheets, or replace towels, despite my calling the front desk to request fresh linens and basic service. The floors were extremely dirty, leaving the bottoms of my feet black when walking barefoot.
The only positive aspect of my stay was that the property is pet friendly. Unfortunately, these issues made an already stressful housing transition even more difficult.

Don’t ask me why but I have always held this passive belief to avoid Motel 6 like that crazy ex-gf while she’s on her cycle.
So tell me why this was lowkey one of the most fun experiences I’ve had while traveling?
Yami at the front desk was amazing: friendly, super cute (she has a bf I asked) and incredibly service oriented. She even made special accommodations for me, giving me an extra bed at no charge and relocating my room downstairs so I didn’t need to lug all 4 suitcases up the stairwell.
Don’t get me wrong: this is still Motel 6. The police were in the parking lot two different times during my 24 hours here (actually), the room had that feeling of college dorm crossed with a walk-in closet, and the beds were nearly as comfy as the cardboard bedroom displays at Bed Bath and Beyond.
But, as a global traveler under many different economic circumstances, this is far from the worst experience I’ve ever had. In fact, it was nearly fun.

We arrived at 1 am, and the first room we were given hadn’t been cleaned. The next room we were given had been cleaned, but was just dirty in general. There were stains on the bedding and mattress, and the floor was dirty. The mattress was sagging and looked like it hadn’t been replaced we in 10 years. We did not stay the night and had to leave to go somewhere else.

The room was very small at this location. Very old building. I could feel the springs in the mattress it was so worn out. We were in room 137. They really need to power wash all the sidewalks really dirty.

Shower was filthy ..About 1/4 roll of toilet paper no extra..hair in bed.. bathroom stunk ..TV was out of order
Never EVER AGAIN.. My advice roll on by to a better motel

My worst experience with motel 6! I’ve never, in any motel/hotel stay, experienced this lack of care. From around 11pm to at least 2 am on the second night of our stay we were continuously woken up by the same guests. They were extremely noisy. I know the motel cannot control what guests do, but they were not responding to calls from me trying to get their assistance. No one would pick up. I had to be up early the next day and got almost no sleep. I told the front desk when checking out and spoke with motel 6 customer service. They sent an email telling them they should refund my stay, but this location refused saying the noise was normal. It was anything but normal. I stay in motel 6 locations frequently, even this one, and this was not normal. I don’t expect a lot from motel 6, but I expect to be able to sleep and I expect someone to be available at the front desk. I was staying right by the office so if someone was there, they should’ve heard it as well. Customer service is terrible at this location.
