Stayed here for 2 nights for a family funeral and it was the easiest to book. On the first night I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay at the hotel or just stay with relatives, but then decided to stay at the hotel last minute. I was able to do a walk in stay and booked for an extra stay at the same room last minute. The front desk agent was very helpful and informative. Not sure if there’s any elevator or not as I didn’t see one when going to the second floor where my room was at. Even if there’s no elevator the walk way up to the 2nd floor is wheelchair accessible but you can also take the stairs to get to the 2nd floor. The room was spacious and they also have breakfast in the morning. The pool is right across from the front desk lobby it closes at 10pm. The hotel also has a indoor pool that connects to the outdoor pool(with heater). They also have a billiard table that you can play at with your family, they also have a pickball and mini golf outside. The AC and Heater works great. The room has a microwave, refrigerator, a work desk and chair, and another padded chair with ottoman. This hotel is close to a lot of stores and also has a McDonald right across and a gas station close by. Would definitely stay here again.

What set it off was a smell of pee coming off the carpet. There was little bugs in the bathroom walls. The bathroom was small not enough room to move around in. But overall experience decent
Rooms: The room was decent. But there were bugs inside the bathroom and our hotel room carpet smelt like "pee" and the carpet was moist. The bathroom was small and didn't really have enough room to move around. But overall experience was decent

Excellent Customer Service and Rooms were always cleaned and tidy when we arrived. Love the location and so convenient for large groups! The amenities are also top notch for families or large groups traveling for sports!

Stayed there last week, for a short vacation, 101, 102. We had 2 rooms, both were clean and well serviced, comfortable beds and bedding, as well as updated decor. Clean bathrooms in each unit. The complimentary breakfast was Hot and cold where it should be. Great coffee. Comfortable surroundings for the property. Your entire staff are to be commended on their jobs. Each interaction with your staff was met with a smile and greeting. We will be back for at least a few more finalizing trips before we move to St. George. Will be happy to stay there, as well as give recommendations to our friends. Thanks for making our stay comfortable and care free.

I enjoyed Stay here for 2 Nights. Convenience to Stores and Restaurants. You could Walk if you wanted to. The Room was Clean. AC and Heat worked great. The Room has a Microwave and Refrigerator. A Desk and Chair. Another Padded Chair with Ottoman. The Bathroom had a Huge Granite Countertop. The Shower had awesome Hot Water. The Queen Bed was very Comfy.
The Big Plus was that it was very Quiet at Night.
This was an Inside Room with the Hallway that went down to the Breakfast Area. I was impressed with the Huge Wonderful Dining area. The Breakfast had a Waffle Maker. Hot Eggs and Sausage. Hash browns. Cold Yogurt and Cocktail Fruit. Hot Coffee. Cold Juice. Bread for Toast. Oatmeal Instant. Nice Array of Breakfast. I would Stay here again. The Staff was Friendly.

We love this hotel. We love the staff and all the updates they have gone through. If you have kids, or even if you don't, this hotel has it all. Swimming indoors and out which is even a blast in the cold of February, pickleball and mini golf. Our baseball team stayed here and all the boys loved it. We played hard until closing time. Thank you Aj and Olivia and Darius for the hospitality!

Had a fantastic stay at the Red Lion Hotel in St. George! The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in and a pleasant experience throughout my stay. The hotel’s location is perfect—close to restaurants, shops, and outdoor attractions. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting St. George!

My daughters and I came down for the weekend and it was a huge disappointment staying at the Red Lion, overpriced, old and needs updated, the complimentary breakfast was bland, tasteless, very cheap, yucky fruit cocktail out of the can instead of fresh fruit, basically the worst breakfast ever. We tossed our tickets for the second morning and went to McDonalds. With the pool being half in and half out made it so noisy in our room. Very poor quality for the money we spent to stay there. It seems like they don't care or have any intentions of making it nicer for their guests, seems like they just care about the money. Definitely not ever going back.

Every review I saw about this place is true except their response that “they’re thankful for the comments and are working on it.” The owners of this hotel are milking it out of every penny it earns and are clearly not investing in improving their guest experience. They’re trying to show to the next buyer how much money it nets by deferring every example of discretionary maintenance. If it doesn’t make the books look better (and thus the valuation), they’re not interested in improving it.
To whomever buys this hotel from the current ownership group, BEWARE, it’s not a good investment. The financial performance does not reflect management’s commitment to disregarding even the simplest guest request for improvement. The exorbitant costs to bring this property up to standards needs to be closely considered in any purchase decisions. They’re milking this place and cooking the books for every dime they can get.
Management is running such an incredibly intentional operation of cost cutting to not even have acceptable toilet paper!!! Staff reported they’re under paid, feedback is ignored (or are afraid to share their observations) and miserable. This hotel KNOWS its issues and they applaud their corporate direction to drain the property.
I challenge Management (who replies to nearly every post) to provide any example of issues raised on past reviews here which have actually been addressed. Hotel has the opportunity to be something special, but the ownership group is only interested in cooking the books.

The bathroom is SO small and the door could barely shut. Even 6 more inches would have been better. It is old and run down and so so clean… I think it would do well to do deep cleaning in sections, especially wiping down the walls.
