We just bought our first home in Cedar City, Utah and had the best experience with Scott and Guild Mortgage. With Scott’s expertise and guidance we were able to get a 2/1 temporary buydown to keep our payment low for the first couple of years so we can refinance at a lower rate down the road. Scott is the best Southern Utah mortgage lender by far thanks and we could not be more happy with how easy he made this process for us!

Scott and his team did a very fine job for us in a nice timing manner. Explanations were given when we totally got confused. Always present, always kind. I didn't wait lonv for answering my texts or calls. Always present, always kind and understanding. Scott was top-notch across the board. We were helping our daughter purchase her first home and Scott was great in explaining all the terminology to her throughout the process. Scott's team was always on point and very prompt in processing all the documents required. Additionally, Scott recommended a great loan buy-down strategy which will end up saving quite a bit of money each month and an opportunity to re-fi when rates settle a bit lower in a couple years. All in all Scott would come highly recommended from us with a 5 Star rating.

Scott is a great mortgage broker. He provided top notch support throughout my refinance process. I am living and working overseas which made things more complicated, but Scott helped me work through all the different challenges with minimal pain. This included him spending hours reconfirming translations and currency conversions for the different documents i provided. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking to refinance or take out a new mortgage. A big thanks for all the help Scott.

Integrity, honest, helpful. I was amazed at Scott's willingness to spend the needed time to help me understand my situation and walk me through the process even though I wasn't a client. Scott laid it out for me, what he could do and why it might be better than my current situation. When it came down to the end, I had some unique things going on and Scott helped me see that...and why not switching was in my best interest. He could have sold me with half truths like I've seen other lenders, but he stuck to what's right.

Scott is the best! I'm a first time homeowner, and am extremely new to the process. Truthfully, I lacked even basic knowledge of how the mortgage process works. Scott was there for me, every step of the way - from the first phone call, until the closing.He answered every single one of my (sometimes d**** questions, was EXTREMELY prompt with every response, and was very kind and generous with his time. Beyond that, he provided a wealth of valuable information above and beyond what was actually required for my mortgage. It felt like I was talking to a friend.Does it sound like I'm laying it on sort of thick? I am, and with good cause.
