Summit Athletic Club is a well-regarded gym with multiple locations. Members express a strong overall love for the club, praising the friendly crowd and staff, who are consistently described as accommodating and providing an awesome front desk experience. A significant highlight across reviews is the exceptional level of cleanliness, with staff constantly seen cleaning, mopping, and maintaining the facility. Many note recent improvements, including the addition of new, state-of-the-art treadmills, which members appreciate. However, experiences vary notably by location. One location receives particular criticism for feeling congested due to a surplus of old equipment, some of which is broken down or does not work properly. The lighting at this gym is also cited as a serious issue, described as musky, gross, and not inviting, creating dark areas that make members feel sad rather than energetic. Some members report driving out of their way to other Summit locations, specifically mentioning the Bluff and River Road sites as superior. Positive features highlighted at other locations include an outstanding outdoor pool with warm water, an outside hot tub, a cushioned indoor track, and a popular outdoor workout area. The club is acknowledged for constantly improving and updating, though members hope for further upgrades to weight systems and year-round access to all pools. While some equipment is viewed as old and issues like roof leaks are noted, the general sentiment is one of loyalty, with members thankful for the club and encouraged by visible efforts to make upgrades.
Honestly my favorite gym to go to in the area. I especially love the outdoor area for working out.The two things that'd make it better is if the kids pool could be open year round like the rest of the pools and if there was somewhere to run outside (probably not too doable, but you never know).

The cleanest gym I have been too. I was able to find equipment I wanted to work out with.
