“Volunteers here do an AMAZING job. I'm a die hard thrifter and this shop is top of the line. Everything is clean and in perfect condition. No chips in glassware, ceramics, etc. Lots of kitchen items. Everything sparkling clean. Great selection of very nice clothing, shoes, and handbags all in excellent condition. Lots of jewelry too! Very reasonable prices. Beautiful bedding. Sports equipment. Books. Lots of useful notions. I visit this area several times a year from Laguna Beach and always stop in. Purchased 4th of July decor this time. I love their mission too. Keep up the good work ladies!”

“This was a huge thrift store, and I thoroughly enjoyed going through every single rack. There was so much to look at, and it seems like they keep adding and sorting through things. It was such a good thrift store. I will definitely be back.”

“I had a great time in this store and picked up several pieces that would have cost me $40 on Amazon! Beautiful dishes and silverware. Everyone was extremely polite and very helpful; I didn't see any employee be "rude or short" with anyone in the store. I'm very grateful that this shop is here. You won't be disappointed! Best place for kitchenware.”

“Super fun, clean, and comfortable place to shop & sell. I go in during the day and the person working is so friendly and helpful and manages to take care of everyone in the store. I try to make it in at least once every couple weeks because they always have new inventory. Love this place.”

“I have been going to Deseret Industries for well over a decade. Although it has changed over time I absolutely love the fact they hire mentally challenged and physically handicapped individuals to work there. Not all, of course, but it seems they go out of their way to offer opportunities to people that simply would have little opportunity elsewhere. I go out of my way to interact with everyone there and have gotten to know many people over the years. Not everybody there is handicapped etc... Some folks volunteer or just feel comfortable working in a positive environment. As far as finding treasure.... wow ! But alas since 2020 Ebay folks and resalers have really changed things (and scanning tech as well) - and that is ok too... Why? At any point during the day or week donated items by the community (I have donated as well) can pop up at random. For some older folks it is a homeground of sorts. For others it is a treasure hunt. For those who do not have a lot of money it delivers necessities and relief. Yes - a rare pair of 1970 Nikes can fall out of nowhere, or a rare 1st edition Planet of The Apes. My best find was an original 1966 autographed picture by all members of Pink Floyd years ago. With that being said - local tourists visiting S.Utah may want to stop by... But for me, it is about interacting with the employees and making them feel valued in a world that often ignores people who are a little different. Very special people - and a very special place. Peace out”

“Wonderful store... and although lots of stuff (ok junk as well) to be had... this place caters more to collectors and people who buy antiques or even valuable art for that matter. It has bargain items but on the other hand may have a steampunk work of art from a famous local artist. This is not really a thriftshop and negative reviews get this construct wrong - so please ignore. It does have thriftshop items though, but it really caters to real collectors and has unique items. Ok do not want to hurt their reputation but even Elon Musk could find something here to like if that makes sense. Maybe he would buy the 1950s porcelain Disney Bambi made in Japan. I can honestly say, I have never gone into this store without buying at least one item - and that is the truth - so help me God - peace out. PS - do not underestimate this store for bargain hunting and let's add a great place to find a killer Halloween costume or used power tool... I know the Elon comment may be misinterpreted. The owner - well, she is a wonderful person, very friendly and knowledgeable.”
