Wells Fargo charges $10 to cash a check from themselves, if you do not bank with them. One more reason not to bank with them.

ZERO attention to detail at this location! I went to this location to do a few business deposits and Cola was the teller that assisted me. She took a few minutes working on my deposits and handed me my receipts. When I got back to my office and was attaching the receipts to my deposit records I noticed an almost $11K deposit missing. I spent a week going through every file in my office/car trying to find it with no luck. I then called WF to see if for some reason they had records of the deposit to make sure it didn’t go into the wrong account. They had to go back through the drawer of the teller from the day I originally went in and found the deposit! It had not been processed and was just filed away.
Leslie (the branch manager) gave me a generic “sorry” but that does nothing for the stress I had for a week trying to determine if I misplaced the deposit, if it went to the wrong account or what happened!! I need a bank I can rely on to do their job correct the first time and this is not it!!

3 days, and the first business day, after leaving a negative review at another branch I received a very patronizing call from this branch. They wanted to make sure my banking needs were being met.
Basis of the review - They refused to deposit a check into my account that made out to myself and my husband, that was endorsed by my husband, without him physically being there to give me “permission”. They did, however, deposit it for him, into his account, the following day, without me having to physically be there to give permission. No questions asked.
I called to vent to my mom about the unfortunate encounter with such a misogynistic establishment. One who had no problem blatantly discriminating against someone based on their gender. As a former Wells Fargo employee, she let me know that they don’t care about their patrons, which is why she left, and encouraged my to take my banking elsewhere.
Obviously, my needs aren’t being met. Instead of addressing the issue, they patronize you. ????

Megan Gonzales was outstanding in assisting me with my online banking. She made several calls on my behalf to get the issue resolved. She was patient and efficient. Thanks

Very polite staff. Seems like every time I come to This particular location they take forever. I waited in line forever then was finally helped only to be told that my transaction required a key pad and I had to wait in line agin for the next teller. I just left. Not that important. Lesson learned steer clear of this location if you expect quick service.

Can you please tell Aubree not to answer the phone at the St. George, Utah branch? I called asking simple questions about checking accounts. She could not answer one question. Her answer for every question asked was, "You can go online to our website." After asking a question about an certain account that I saw on the Wells Fargo website, she said, "We don't have that account. " So, I guess the website she referred me to has false information on it. Knowledge is power. Especially in the workplace. SMH

Jake Rehkop made my experience easy and painless. Jake was the only banker in the bank, and even though he was busy, he let me know he would be available in a few minutes to help me. Once I sat down, it was a swipe of my card, and Jake was getting stuff done quickly! Very friendly service. Thanks.

First time to visit this Wells Fargo branch on Riverside Dr., in St George. We went in to open a second account. We were introduced to Jake who was really friendly, sincerely cheerful all through the process of meeting our needs in an efficient manner, and somehow managed to mention all sorts of options and services offered by WF, but he did it so naturally within context we never felt like we were getting sales pitches or that he was trying to up-sell us. We received good information on services I would not have thought to go to WF for, like mortgage loans, for example. We really appreciated Jake for his professionalism and genuine interest to provide services. He reminded me of all the good reasons I’ve been with WF for so long. Ive thought customer service has become rare experience since Covid. We look forward to using this branch more often and while I’ve been to other branches in town, Jake gets my vote for best WF account manger for authentic customer interest, professional decorum & appearance and a stellar knowledge of WF products and services.

Lines are always long and slow. Be prepared to spend 20+ minutes in the drive thru.

This has been my bank since 2006. Moving from NYC & Citibank I wanted a full service bank. Mergers and acquisitions made Wells Fargo a major national player in the banking world. WF initially handled my investments, mortgages, savings, and checking accounts. While SG isn't Manhattan banking policies should never make the client/customers feel like 'would be criminals'. WF branches Main St, Mall Drive, Riverside Dr have been most welcoming for the past 15 years. Until yesterday. Riverside Drive branch has been convenient for the past 5 years (I lived 2 blocks away). I usually go into the branch. I also bank at the Cache Valley bank next door (they share a parking lot with the drive throughs facing one another). Pandemic restrictions have made walk-in access to WF limited and "iffy" at best. Cache Valley not so inconvenient. I went into Cache Valley made a withdrawal to place into my checking account at WF. The teller placed the cash into a banking envelope with my receipt. Mind you I never touched the cash. I drove around the parking lot to WF drive through. I placed the Cache Valley banking envelope (which contained the cash) along with my debit card and my completed preprinted deposit ticket. Here's the good part (incredulous!). The to be nameless teller. Reaches in, thanks me, then looks me in the face, and asks for my picture ID. I asked "why? I am making a deposit to my account." He says "it is policy, in case of money laundering". I am furious! Laundering $400? Looking at my account there definitely is no laundering there. I am driving a 15 year old car. I am a senior citizen. If I were using an ATM to make the deposit there would be no picture ID. If I were making a withdrawal I understand this additional step but this procedure sets the customer up with the assumption of being not just a criminal, but dishonest...up to no good. Banks are handling our money not theirs. More bankers go to jail than us.customers. I am put out. They are there to serve us, not to be adversarial. Where's the friendly service? WF needs to rethink what they are doing. No profiling! If this policy extends to everyone... post it where we can ALL see it. Cache Valley 1, Wells Fargo 0.
