Winnelson is a Wholesale plumbing supply store that services plumbing contractors. They have the Safety, dedication to the plumbing contractors in mind. Plumbing contractors are licensed, and insured and do the work properly. The Winnelson are Professional, and detail oriented and are great to work with.

My contractor had purchased my AO Smith water heater through Winsupply so when it went bad, AO Smith directed me to winsupply to exchange the old water heater for a new one under warranty. When I called, I was told I had to pay a licensed plumber to do the warranty work. Since I live distant from the winsupply I asked if I could pick it up under warranty and then pay a contractor to install it for me so. Phil cut me off and began yelling at me that he has a sign in the window saying wholesale only and he doesn’t make any exceptions. When I tried to ask him if he had any ideas on what I could do since AO Smith told me I had to go through Winsupply, he kept cutting me off and wouldn’t even let me ask the question. I get it, they have liability to look after, but it doesn’t seem like having a civil calm conversation to help inform someone is possible, at least for Phil.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone deal with a company that treats people like that, contractor or not.
I looked elsewhere in StG and found a company much easier to work with.

Phil and his crew are outstanding! They believe in taking care of their customers and it shows. Their guys are knowledgeable and friendly and keep the atmosphere light. They had everything I needed to complete my project and didnt question it when I had to return one of the valves I brought back (I wasnt sure which one would fit). Kudos to you and your team Phil!

I would give no stars if possible i own a plumbing company and we go to were we get the best price and service, we go to winn about 4 to 6 times a month but are last vist was for an AO smith water heater warranty they would not honor it because we dont buy enough from them! NOT a company you should want to buy from or work for.

I purchased a small emaxx water heater here in February of 2018 for my sister who just needed it for a single lavatory. Well the electrical system wasn't enough for the heater and I wanted to return it but they told me I dry fired it. I've been a plumber for 20+ years in Florida and know the heater only fires/heats when water is circulated through it and they wouldn't return my sisters 200+dollars. They told me and my sister that I dry fired it so they wouldn't return it for my sisters money back. These people behind the counter do not know anything about what they sell and don't go here. I went here because I don't like Ferguson but please realize that the people at Ferguson know what and how the things they sell work. Thanks Wynnsupply for stiffing me and my sister for the heater your the best and I'll post the invoice for proof as soon as my sister sends it to me and I'm giving a bad review for again when I post it. Thanks guys!
