Stansbury Park Golf Course

Hours: Stansbury Park Golf Course offers a fun and low-pressure round with amazing views of the turf, mountains, and lake or ponds, where it is cool to see fowl flying by and sitting on the water. The layout is loved by many, providing a good challenge with water hazards and allowing players to try risky shots over water features and trees. The course is not too challenging from the red or white tees, with pretty easy fairways, though the rough is noted as deeper and thicker than at other courses, which some players appreciate for catching stray shots. While the course has faced issues, including brown grass and drought conditions affecting its appearance, there are significant improvement efforts underway. A new superintendent and crew are working hard, having completely resodded several greens on the front nine that now look great, with other greens also in good shape, especially on some par threes. The staff is consistently described as friendly and the electric carts are well-maintained. The facility includes a nice little chipping and putting green and a short driving range. It is not the nicest course around, but it is a good, overall great course for a comfortable and enjoyable round where conditions continue to improve.
