Our experience here was amazing. The food was delicious, and the treats were fun and festive. The staff was amazingly helpful, and even provided us with (celiac friendly) gluten-free options. I would absolutely recommend this little deli to anyone looking for a quick delicious bite to eat, or for some festive treats to take home to the family.Dietary restrictions: Provided options for a celiac friendly gluten-free diet. Consisting of gluten-free ingredients, being prepared on a gluten-free surface.

Cute little deli. Bought a delicious loaf of Sourdough bread and a few homemade caramels. I was dining at another restaurant so I cannot comment on the food or sweets the deli offered, but everything looked good and clean.

Made an unplanned stop up at Sundance, and did not make reservations at the restaurants, so had deli food outside instead. Resort level pricing for decent food. Bacon on the turkey-bacon was overcooked and brittle/burned, salmon faccocia was tasty, but the cream on it was a bit from earlier in the day, no scrimping on the salmon. Overall as Deli's go - 3star - food 3-star, but excellent wait staff and 5 star atmosphere for a deli - hard to beat a table under the clouded sky, a bit cooler in the afternoon, and very pleasant.

We got there at 7:30 so could only order from the deli. When I first asked where we could sit, they implied we could not sit because they didn't open until 9AM. Asked another, and were shown an area to sit. Basically, the staff didn't sing the same tune. Food was OK. Cash register clerk spent more time twirling hair braids than paying attention to customers. I won't go back.

The food was pretty bad. Super dry and for the price I was expecting more. The workers were very friendly though!

A bit pricey but eating outdoors amongst the pines and mountains is worth it. Food was good.

The young lady that helped us was super helpful. Great service, delicious salads and gluten-free cookies.

We go to the grill about once a year. This year we check in with our reservation and we’re guided thru a near empty restaurant to a small room in the back. No on else was in the room and about 5;mins later a waiter came in to apologize that he just was told we were back there. We ordered and had to wait about an hour for our food with the same waiter coming every 20 mins to say so sorry but there are big parties ahead of you. When the food finally came the fries were cold. The food was good but I am not sure we would ever go back even though we love the drive up there. . Seriously folks , why stuff us in a back room as were were actually dress nicely.

The deli used to have really yummy, freshly made sandwiches. Now they have premade, gas station-esque sandwiches that they reheat and the kicker is that the sandwiches are more expensive now. I was so disappointed and won’t be going there shop or eat. Such a bummer.

There was an avalanche through Provo Canyon and all traffic was stopped and turned around. We ultimately changed our restaurant plans and turned into Sundance Resort, which turned out to be the best decision. The manager was accommodating and understood the dilemma taking a chance on lost reservations vs new reservations and whether the staffing could tackle the disaster. Jenny our server was amazing and the night did get busier, kudo’s to the entire Foundry team for making the best of an unfortunate situation. We were celebrating a birthday; the food and service was memorable. And again, Jenny showed unwavering perseverance through a stressful evening.

Dietary restrictions: I was happy that when I asked for a no carb option for the Bacon Swiss burger, they did have a gluten free option. I chose to just have it wrapped in lettuce, tho. It was delicious! A bit pricey, but very good to hold me thru the rest of the afternoon! Homey, chill place to wait for your skiing buddies to finish their time on the slopes.

TLDR: came for the sandwiches specifically, but they grossed us out and made some other family members sick last week, so we passed on the sandwiches.Used to love the deli and so we brought our kids in for some sandwiches and treats, but they now pre-make their sandwiches. Having a display case full of pre-made sandwiches is unappealing enough — they just don’t look fresh or special. The counter employee told me they cycle fresh sandwiches in every “few days.” Which means that the Turkey pesto I wanted could have been sitting there for… two days??? We were grossed out! Even if the case is refrigerated, it gets opened too often to be stable and cold. I’d even say it’s likely a bacteria-breeding ground. We got soup instead and it was yummy. And we love getting lollipops for the kids.Side note: three of my family members got sandwiches from the deli last week and they all got sick! One brother was throwing up all night.Came for the sandwiches specifically, but didn’t get any sandwiches.

We are staying up at Sundance for a few days and my husband ordered chicken soups to take away from the deli. There was literally no chicken in the soup, only tomatoes. I’m serious, no chicken to be seen. We ended up throwing them out.
