There's a woman who works the booth she has very short hair and is an older woman, I just have to say she is by far the sweetest person I've ran across in many years , she'll make getting your gas or your pack of smokes or maybe filling your tire with air one of the best times you've had and if you run into her ,tell her Val & Wendy said hi ?

I like the point program. Getting fuel points and others for redemption. It eases the higher costs we have to endure.

The overall experience was good. The only thing that I would say is that it could be a little clearer.

I often come into Smith and Sunset. I know a couple people who were there and most the time the people there are very friendly but it saddens me that you guys have a bagger who has a disability and you guys put him through a lot today I went in to go get my prescription, and as I pulled out to your guises parking area, I see CJ trying to get the snow away from where the carts go and to be quite honest I don’t even think I could do what they had him doing. He has a lot of health issues and I know that he doesn’t complain much , but I think that you guys should’ve had someone else out there doing that job instead of him he’s always doing the crazy stuff when I come in when I watch into the store I seen the general manager and some of the other staff just standing around talking and then I look at CJ outside Bustin his tail hurting and I’m afraid that he was going to fall when there was plenty of people inside that were standing around. They could’ve went out there and helped him or did it them self Cj should get recognition for all the hard work he does not only for the store but for what he does for the customers I’m sorry if I upset anybody or offended anybody but that’s how I feel

I've always liked Smith's Fuel stations because of the friendly employees who work there and of course, the fuel points.

It seems like every time I come here it's always something. Today, I thought I'd come away unscathed. When I got to a register, the cashier asks for my phone number. This is the ONLY Smiths where they do that. I say that I will just input it (vs. giving my number to anyone in earshot - especially when the number is used for gas points) and she seems annoyed. The bagger has bagged my groceries and placed them in my cart by the time I was done paying so I just push my cart away. I parked my cart and took my 3 bags out and left the store. I get home and discover I'm missing an item I paid for. I call the store and I am told "yes - you forgot it." Umm no - I didn't bag my groceries and put them in my cart so I didn't forget anything. So now, I am inconvenienced with having to return to the store for the item which so happens to be necessary for dinner. The very last thing anyone wants to do is to have to look over your work, when I'm sure you know your job duties, to ensure you've done it. This is not the first time this has happened. And sure, I could use self checkout but after working from home all day - I actively select human contact with hopes that it will give me warm fuzzies to do it again. But alas, this store falls short more often than not. Do better. Don't expect people to always look over your work and fix your mistakes.

I am pinching pennies lately. With gas prices soaring, it is so great Smith's has a loyalty program to reduce your gas prices. Be sure to clip the coupon to double your fuel points!

They don't acknowledge you, that's why it's called self service. The people that worked back then were nicer.
