They were very nice and thorough when we had to take our baby in in the middle of the night. I wish they had one in Cache Valley!

I waited an hour in the in the lobby, and then they put me in the waiting room and I waited two hours in there nobody comes in to tell you any updates they just put you in there and leave you very unprofessional if my dog really didn’t have to be seen I wouldn’t have stayed.

They were very informative on the phone when we first called and after we arrived they were quick and very knowledgeable about what was happening with our dog, Dahlia. It was reassuring and we were confident in their ability to treat dahlia. We will definitely go there again if we have another urgent situation! They were great!

This place was awesome. A horrible sad time was handled by a very professional group. They were kind and considerate, made my sweet little girl comfortable. They allowed ample time for goodbyes without coming in and out often. I felt like this was the perfect place to come at this devastating time ? ? ?

Wait times were awful and nothing was ever stated at check in as to how long the wait time would be. There was only 1 Vet on staff and my 1 week old puppy ended up being away from her mom for 3 hours while in the office and 1.5 hrs in drive time.

Very disappointed by our last service there. And BEWARE!Our first experience was 2 years ago our cat had to have emergency surgery to save his life. They were great to explain the process and costs. We were told he would be there 2-3 days, and the cost would be between $1000-$1800Imagine my surprise when I was called the following morning and told by a new Dr that everything went well. He was doing great. And said that they understood the Dr from the day before had told us it could be up to $1800 but that he had maxed out that $1800 so the cost was going to be higher. This didn't sit well with me. Everything had gone as expected with no surprises. The next time the Dr called, at the end of her shift, I'd asked why in less than 12 hrs the cost had gone up if all had gone as anticipated. She told me she would look into it and that my cat was ready to be picked up.When I picked up my cat, they ended up refunding some of the $1800 we had put on file. Odd since the cost was going to be over $1800 8 hrs prior.8 more hours of treatment and I got a refund.Fast forward to this year. We had a new kitten who we feared may have gotten some antifreeze. I felt fairly confident she didn't. It had been over 12 hours and she had no symptoms until I saw her throw up so we felt better safe than sorry.I took her in and they got her right back. She was problematic so they had to sedate her to get a sample. By the time they got a sample it has been 16-18 hrs since the possible ingestion. They called me back and said that the test showed a high level in her blood.Because of my past experience, as well as the fact I was fairly certain she didn't get any, I asked the vet if I could see that test. She said "they probably threw it away but I'm sure they took a picture of it or something"Because I very much care about my pets, and she was just a kitten I felt I had no choice but to believe this vet.Treatment is urgent for poisoning I agreed to pay $3000 to save her life. When picked her up, they wanted me to bring her back in 48 hrs for a recheck of her. I told them I'd take her to our family vet.I later learned that the odds of that test getting a positive read that long after ingestion is almost never, if not never. And that the odds of her survival with a reading that high, that long after, especially given her size is basically zero.I received this confirmation from 2 other vets shortly after this ordeal. As a matter of fact, her vet was so confident she didn’t have antifreeze poisoning, he didn't feel a recheck was even necessary. She came out completely unharmed. No kidney damage. Nothing. Though she supposedly had ingested antifreeze and had it in her system for 16-18 hrs before any treatment. Her vet said that is really not medically possible given the prognosis and "test results".So yes they may save your pets life; and that is priceless. But they definitely exploit the fact that you really have no other choice. And will drain your bank, especially if they think you can afford it.I'm not sure if their test strips were bad or if they are just morally bankrupt.Given the fact that 2 other vets confirmed that this outcome is not probable. You'd think the Dr's at Medvet whom treated my kitten would have the same medical sense and realized it themselves. But they didn't, they sent my kitten home drunk, and had no problem using evey penny of my $3000.Still considering turning them in for unethical practice. I'd like my $3k back.**it's been almost a month since I've emailed reviews as instructed. No response.I'd hoped to see an internal evaluation to what went wrong with testing and treatment.I will be escalating what happened to the State of Utah for peer review.**

I cannot explain the appreciation I have for the staff that worked last night. We had to put our precious Zoey down. She was 12.5 yrs old and basically my 1st child. When we came in they were so sweet & caring. They even sent her home in a cute little decorated coffin(my we put the dates on there and stuff). I was so amazed at the empathy and love they had for us… Thank you for tanking care of our Zoey while she was alive. But most of all, thank you for the experience we had of her leaving. It’ll be something we’ll never forget. ??

I never leave reviews but these guys were not nice at all they didn’t care about my pet they were just worried about how much we would pay them! They told me my dog had to have an emergency surgery and it was going to be a $10,000 after walking out the door after surgery LUCKILY my normal vet called me and said they can see her we left MedVet as soon as we can! and went to my normal vet to find out she DIDNT need surgery Med vet charged me 1300 for an xray and blood work and nothing else! My other vet did X-rays again and gave my puppy an iv stayed over night to keep an eye on her. Got her meds and what she needed to get feeling better for a bill of 300$ DONT go to medvet unless you want to deal with RUDE people to talk to and TALK TO PEOPLE THAT ARE GREEDY ABOUT MONEY INSTEAD OF TAKING CARE OF THE PETS THAT ACTUALLY NEED HELP!!!

Do NOT waste your time and money!!! If I could leave zero stars I would.I took my little 5 pound dog in because she had got ahold of a children’s ibuprofen. When we first walked in the receptionist was super kind. I told her what had happened and we waited a few minutes before being taken back. I then told the assistant what had happened. She said the doctor was going to come in and do an exam and talk to me. Never happened… she came back in and took my dog for the doctor to take her vitals, and brought her back no less than two minutes later. Then told us the doctor would be in soon. We waited for an hour and the assistant came in and said here’s the number for poison control. You need to get a case number from them and they will tell us what and how much medicine to give. We can’t do anything until you call them, also they charge a $85 fee to call. I call them and I’m on hold for 40 minutes. When someone comes to the line and I’m talking with them, the doctor walks in and says “I’ll come back”. Finally I get a case number and they tell me that they recommend a dose of medication to prevent stomach ulcers. I wait another 15 minutes before the receptionist comes in to check on us. I told her the doctor came in and I’m just waiting for her to come back. She says she’ll go get her. Receptionist comes in and tells me the doctor is now in an emergency surgery, so the assistant is going to hold the phone up for the doctor to talk to poison control while she’s in surgery and then come let me know what the plan is. An hour and a half later still nothing. Just waiting. I finally walked out pretty upset and said I wasn’t waiting any longer and I wanted to leave. She told me she needed to go back and see what the doctor did and what she needed to charge me for. Her and a male walked out and told he me the doctor was coming in to talk to me in two minutes, but since I didn’t want to wait any longer they couldn’t tell me anything that poison control had told them. I was then charged $130 for an exam that never happened. But she did tell me she wasn’t going to charge me for the extra day since I got there a little after 10pm and it was now 1am (how nice). I can understand paying after hours and emergency, but they did absolutely nothing. I sat there for three hours and the assistant told me the only thing she did was check her vitals and temp and I was charged $130 plus the $85 phone call. What a totally scam this place is.

I can not say ANYTHING bad about this place , I've never met any other pet/animal services of any kind that have such a loving caring employees , I won't go into detail but I thought my 2 month old puppy was about to pass away and if that would have been the case I couldn't have asked any other place to put my puppies paws into ( hope that makes sense) , they had me feeling safe and secure and beyond hopeful that he was going to be alright , if you're in any kind of need for your pet then this is the place to go . I love them there for all the do for so many, including for us people.

Having to make the decision to let our little budy go over the rainbow bridge was 1 of the hardest days ever, but the employees & vet were so kind, respectful and sympathetic of our loss. I would highly recommend MedVet.
