Antelope Island State Park is a stunning destination located in Utah, known for its breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife, including a herd of bisons. Visitors appreciate the park's natural beauty, especially during sunset, and many find it to be a unique and wonderful place to explore. There are numerous activities available, such as hiking on trails like Buffalo Point and Frary Peak, where hikers can enjoy impressive views. The park also offers picnic areas, beaches for wave watching, and opportunities to see wildlife in their natural habitat. While the park has a $15 entrance fee per vehicle, some suggest biking in as a more economical option, especially with a free parking lot nearby. Although the visitor center may be closed for construction, visitors can still enjoy the park's history and beauty. However, bugs can be an issue, so bringing bug spray is recommended. The Buffalo Round Up event is a highlight for many, featuring informative booths and friendly vendors. Overall, Antelope Island State Park is a gem that provides a full day of exploration and enjoyment for nature lovers.
