Waited outside one of their two maintenance bays for 15 minutes as I watched 4 other people walk around as they saw me waiting and they drank drinks and were shooting the breeze. They never opened the bay so I left. They just smiled as I backed up and drove away, they didn't care at all. You just lost a customer and I can't believe you stay in business with the attitudes I saw displayed, you need to do much better in your business practices.

After the two hour wait to complete my service. I found an oil spot where I park my truck, I found the oil filter was leaking and it was loose. I tightened it up and I will never return to any Jiffy lube. It’s hard these days to find good service. Good luck if you use this location.

Slowest shop I've ever been to. Took nearly 1 hour to so my emissions test. Workers standing around with hands in their pockets while the lobby has customers waiting. Unprofessional and inexperienced staff.

Don’t work here. Horrible management. You tell them you need some time adjusted the week before and they will make sure they mess up in purpose. Too much drama. Good services though.

The team at the Syracuse Jiffy Lube did a great job servicing my the front/rear differentials and transfer case on my GMC Sierra. Quicker and more affordable than a competitor that I originally tried to schedule work with!

Surprise, another incredibly piss poor experience from the Syracuse Jiffy Lube. My wife had stopped in for emissions, an oil change and to have a headlight bulb replaced. Due to some more technical issues found with the check engine light, we needed to take the car to a mechanic. While diagnosing the CEL, mechanic immediately found filthy oil in the reservoir, oil had not been changed, at all. Possibly only topped-off to satisfy the dipstick. The "technician" at Jiffy Lube had also shorted out the wiring to the headlamp that they had attempted to replace with a new bulb. Headlamp is completely nonfunctioning now. Absolutely pathetic to read so many similar reviews, and the same, seemingly disingenuous answer from the store owners. It seems very apparent that with so many horrendous experiences, the owner could not care less about the quality of technical and customer service at this location. What an absolute joke. If this is how the owner(s) of this location feel good about being business owners and making money, they should be ashamed. But I doubt it. I've filed a case with Jiffy Lube corporate, to see if there's any hope of being reimbursed and provided compensation to fix the issue with the headlight. But I doubt that too.

I have to say the manager of this jiffy lube is not only a good manager but a good man, he was so nice and helpful, I recommend this one for sure. Thanks jiffy lube.

There is not a single thing I can say about this jiffy lube that is positive. Came in for a simple emissions test and waited for over 2 hours. There was a car before us that kept coming back for brake fluid issues, an employee mentioned that there was air in the lines after jiffy lube did the work. The employees kept leaving my car during the emissions testing to go deal with the brake fluid issue car and if they weren't doing that there was a ton of standing around staring. When we finally left we found a leaking, dirty oil bottle left on one of the seats and the steering wheel was greasy.Do not go to this jiffy lube under any circumstances, I only went here for emissions because Redds Quick Lube up the road is closed on Mondays, it was a huge mistake to not just wait until Redds was open but I initially gave this jiffy lube the benefit of the doubt and figured they could handle a simple emissions test, I was very clearly wrong on that. The service at this jiffy lube is consistently poor and until today I hadn't been to this one in years because the last time I came in for an oil change they broke a bunch of plastic clips and stunk up my old car.

I have used this facility mostly for emissions and inspections for my vehicles and motorcycles over the years. On my latest visit, I was coming in for emissions, and pulled up to the back doors. I was greeted by a technician upon exiting my car, and she checked me in at a garage computer. She didn't give me a time frame, but told me to wait in the waiting room. As I was walking to the waiting room, I saw she was checking in another vehicle that arrived after I did for a similar emissions and registration. While waiting, other customers were talking about the online coupons for emissions, so I checked the website and downloaded a $6 off emissions coupon. It seemed like the wait was a little longer than I expected since they didn't seem to be overly busy. I noticed that the vehicle that arrived just after I did was completed and paid before they finished my car. I must have got the slower tech I guess. I also had to wait again, while my car was left running just outside the bay doors, for the cashier to complete another customer before I could pay and get on my way. The waiting are had a restroom, drink vending machine, and several adequate but not comfy chairs. There were TV's mounted on the upper wall area, but they only showed a menu of service options and advertised their services, not any programming to watch. I will likely return here again for similar services in the future.

I came in here for an emission test was told the emissions guy was gone and would be there shortly, so my kids and I left to browse around the dollar store. As we walked back I saw my car was in the bay and was asked by one of the employees what I needed, toldHim I need an emissions test done and that was it. After about 15 minutes I had another employee come over and tell me that they filled my car up with the wrong oil, so they needed to flush it out and put the right oil in. I again asked why that was done when I didn’t authorize an oil change and was only there for an emissions test she said she didn’t know and I wasn’t going to be charged for the oil change or flush. When I kindly approached the “manager” Taylor about writing or indicating on my receipt about what happened during my visit there he said he couldn’t do that because he needed to save his own butt and nothing would be wrong with my car. That’s when my attitude changed, I informed him that I was very upset about his response and he told me that “customers aren’t always right” and he’s “only human”. I understand mistakes BUT if communication was in place this wouldn’t have happened and being there was 1 other customer there during this time I don’t understand how me telling everyone when I arrived what I needed fell through the cracks of every employee there. I requested he call someone higher up to be able to document what happened to cover MY BUTT because at that point I didn’t even trust that he would put the right oil in after he “flushed” the wrong one out. I got many excuses and I’m sure me being very headstrong probably didn’t makeHim feel very good but I did end up getting an apology and a documented receipt but it shouldn’t be that difficult to own up to your mistake and do what the customer asks especially if it can ruin their car.

Pretty rough experience, wouldn’t recommend to anybody even as a last resort. Came in for a simple oil change which turned in to several different visits over the span of a month and a half or so, all taking about an hour and a half each, for a simple leak that never existed before my first visit. Finally got tired of it and went to Redds down the road in Clearfield where they found the cause of the leak, kindly let me know that my metal skid plate was hanging on by a single bolt, took it off for me, put it in the bed of the truck, got new wipers, got my tires topped off even though I never asked them to, all in the span of about 20 minutes. Stopped in today for an emissions test. Been here for 45 minutes already. The guy is too busy eating his lunch, my husband asked how much longer we should wait. The guy gave attitude and told my husband to go back to the lobby. My husband has done emissions tests on vehicles before so he's familiar with the procedure. Would not recommend this place. Will not be back here.The assistant manager came and talked to us and he was great! He helped get our long wait and issues resolved.

This Syracuse Jiffy Lube has had multiple problems over the years. This location has been known to gouge females and tricking them into buying what they don’t need. Ask my wife. I went in to have my inspection done a year ago, and they charged someone else for my inspection/registration charges, and wouldn’t release mine until I paid somebody else’s, which was their mistake. The other guys was more money. Currently yelp has this location at 2.0 stars. Avoid all Jiffy Lube‘s, go to take five in Layton. New location, a better option to get your oil changed
