Jacob is my go to. He's amazing in probably every way. He's super talkive and nice and we've connected hobbies before. He's amazing at his art of cutting and never disappoints. My hair always ends out the best with him.

Only 2 people working when we got there and one receptionist ( week before school starts on a Saturday) they told us about a half hour wait. We left and came back and one of the hair stylist left to go get more money. They told us again about a half hour wait. Why didn't the receptionist go get money so the hair stylist could have stayed? Totally under staffed for a Saturday a week before school starts!!!! Spent half my day there!!!!

My youngest child has a big issue with doing a very basic chore of brushing her hair and everyone is so wrapped up and busy with work in school that we can’t constantly monitor her with this. It’s an expectation.
Since she is so bad at this, we love smart cuts patience with working to get everything untangled get her wash and make her hair look pretty again as she swears. She wants it as long as it is, but historically has stunk at being consistent with maintenance. This has improved in recent months, but we still go to smart cuts to ensure everything is done to the best possible measure we can get.

absolutely HORRIBLE. some lady with rainbow hair cut my hair. i wanted about 2 inches of dead hair off and she cut off 4-5 without asking. way to expensive also. i went home to look in the mirror and i am not kidding she did not even cut my hair straight across. i have spent all day crying because i had quite long hair and now it is gone. its very blunt and the lady had no clue what she was doing. im not sure who let her cut hair but she should be fired. i will never be going back

When I came today for a haircut, I was surprised to see Nat! Last month, I was told by Jacob that Nat was gone. He also told me he was the new manager.
Why make up such a lie. I feel deceived by Jacob. I was excited to know that Nat is still there. Although she wasn’t available to cut my hair, I was happy to see her.

😭 I went in to have my regrowth about 2 inches bleached about three levels and the man I went to Jacob was so horrible not he started out with a lift color which my color hair is about a three so there’s no way he shouldn’t even use that he should’ve used bleach from the beginning he left the bleach on for my hair for 20 minutes before he even came back to check on me my head was burnt. My scalp was burnt. I was almost in tears. I had to call the manager over to help me when Jacob just told me it was my foundation line. He told me he could fix it and rolled his eyes, but there was no way I was gonna let him touch my head again. This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life when I came home the next morning I have scabs on my head from the processing due to him constantly rubbing my head and my scalp with the bleach in my head like I was his pet dog he told me to take a Tylenol when I got home and I would feel better within 24 hours and he would fix the problem. He quoted me $140 which the first quote was 80 Bank heavenly stars Natalie the manager was there but not only calmed me down made me feel better and safe thank you very much Natalie you are a true manager. I don’t know who the owners of this place but they will hear from me

Not sure that I will ever go back.
I have been going here for many years, but unfortunately I may never go back. My hair cut was fine, until I was paying, I typically tip 25% but was shocked that the recommended minimum tip was 35%, and it went up from there. I did tip the 35% asking minimum.
Am I wrong in my thinking that a tip should be decided by the customer and not be pressured by the store??
It may be due to the new ownership allowing this.
If you need to raise the price fine, but don't put your customers in the register tipping shock! 😲

I had my haircut by Maia again. As always it was great. I tend to wait too long between cuts, so I am sure it is a challenge, but she always succeeds! Thank you Maia.

I've been going to this place forever. I love it. The young lady's are great and always takes good care of me. Natalie is the manager there during the week and she is just awesome. Very helpful.
