I switched from Costcos Pharmacy years ago. I have been really impressed with the staff at the Syracuse Smith's Pharmacy. They always go above and beyond to get me the info I need, answer my questions, find me a discount, etc. They feel like family and I appreciate their dedication.

I've never had a bad experience here yet. They're so polite and informative and I love the text reminders when I have prescriptions to pick up.

They are awful at getting your prescriptions ready by the time they give you if they say 15 expect 45 about 50% of the time and they will be jerks if you say anything. Also the pharmacist I saw today i was asking about a new prescription and he couldn't be bothered. He even walked away mid conversation. I am officially done and will be switching pharmacies. If I could give zero stars I would.

Please modernize! This pharmacy is seriously stuck in 1970! It lives off sticky note instructions with ZERO accountability! I have never had such poor delivery and communication from a pharmacy. Every time they give you lip service what you want to hear, set an expectation and completely deliver nothing! I guess I will go back to Walgreens. Worst pharmacy experience ever!

i was in a panic about not having my meds that if i don’ take it for one day it throws me off for weeks and when they said i could come in and get a loan until my prescription refill is approved it was such a relief. i haven’t had any other pharmacy’s care this much and they are always so welcoming so thank you !

Michelle in the pharmacy is a fantastic. I quickly explained the longstanding issue I have with my prescriptions going to the wrong Smiths, and she corrected in moments! Thanks Michelle and the rest of the Pharmacy team!

DELI ONLY REVIEW:The chicken tenders at the Syracuse store are dry and no flavor. They aren't double breaded like other Smith's. If you want good ones, go to Kaysville or West Point, maybe others but those 2 for sure. Back to Syracuse, I asked the cook why they aren't double breaded, she said they don't have the machine to do it. I don't understand that answer, maybe someone can explain it.I like everything else about Smith's!

The only grocer in Syracuse, other than Walmart, so locals have almost no choice but to shop here. For it to be a fairly small store, produce department is pretty decent and the meat department workers are very friendly. If a customer wants items, such as crawfish, you just let that department know 2-3 days in advance. I've eaten a couple of salads from the deli area that were pretty good. My favorite item from the bakery is the jumbo chocolate frosted donut that's about the size of a plate.

Need to update hours and fix issues with insurance info. I repeatedly come in to get prescriptions just to find they are closed, also have to continually remind them of my insurance information.

I have used this pharmacy for a while and it has steadily gone down hill. I have been told I needed pre authorization and then spent an hour on the phone with my insurance and doc just to find out she read the wrong line. I was told my second insurance didn’t work as second insurance to find out they had put the prescription in wrong. I kept going back and forth with my insurance because it showed $30 online but was $60 when I picked it up. It turns out they were filling 31 days so it was charging me double for 1 pill. They are always so busy that they make me feel like I am not important. I used to be like other pharmacies where they will call the insurance for you, now they always have me do it. If it was like 1 time I could understand, but I run tens of thousands of dollars worth of prescriptions a year through them. I think it might be time to transfer stuff to another pharmacy. They need to go back to the way the way they were before. Caring and not always in such a rush.

Great people but they close early randomly without warning.

Pretty disappointed with this pharmacy. I drove a ways just to pick up a prescription that had been filled and showed up moments after 1pm, where the entire pharmacy takes a lunch together, and was rudely turned away. As an RN, I’m surprised at the lack of customer service given. It seems strange to me that everyone has to take a lunch together and the entire pharmacy closes instead of covering for each other during the lunch hour and keeping it open.

I've been to every Smith's in the area. This one is by far the worst. The aisles are narrow and crammed with random stuff. Just an overall chaotic experience.
