“Dr. Moss is an outstanding veterinarian who truly cares about his patients and their families. When our dog needed emergency care, he made time to see us right away, which meant so much during a stressful situation.
What impressed me most was how compassionate, knowledgeable, and easy to understand he was. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt comfortable with the treatment plan. It’s obvious that he genuinely loves what he does and cares deeply about the animals he treats.

“Came in with an outdoor/feral cat who had an abscess. The vet, Dr. Powell, was super patient and communicative and the procedure went well. The technician and receptionist were both kind as well. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
Update: I’ve since brought in my three indoor cats multiple times, for a variety of visits including dental surgery, blood work, wellness exams, annual shots, and nail trims. They send text reminders for appointments and they answer calls quickly and appointments usually run on time. The waiting area can get loud and full so I recommend bringing a carrier cover if your pet gets stressed. All of the staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and communicative. I used to take my cats to Bayview, and the level of care at LVH is far above what I experienced there. I especially appreciate that they provide detailed estimates for procedures, including both low-end and high-end ranges, which makes planning easier. I also highly recommend the Thrive Plus membership and CareCredit if needed!”

“We recently moved to Utah. Our 8 year old husky began appearing lethargic, no energy and just not herself. We ended up taking her to an urgent care to uncover she was diabetic. Her glucose levels were dangerously high. In a panic, we were able to schedule an appointment for the very next day with Animal Care. The doctors took the time to explain to us this life change and did so with care and compassion. We’ve been coming for weekly check ins of her glucose levels. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend their office to anyone! Great care, great staff and excellent Veterinarians! “Dr. Talbot has taken care of my various fur kids for about two decades- he is knowledgeable and has true empathy for his animal patients. He has an incredible medical understanding for the best remedy for an illness or injury, coupled with understanding animals as they age. He was so gentle and thorough with his assessment of my fragile geriatric dog, and was very patient with me as a concerned, but nervous dog mom. I think he is a compassionate & skilled medical provider. I highly recommend Dr. Talbot.”
“Frustrated that I asked how much extra the wormer was and was told $4 but after looking at the receipt it was an extra $30. Still cheaper than going to a vet office but I could have easily bought that wormer and done both of my dogs for that price.”

“We love love LOVE the team here! When we rescued our senior dog he was in rough shape and our usual vet couldn't get him in even after we explained the situation. Birch Creek got him in immediately and took excellent care of him and went above and beyond. The vet even called us while on vacation to give us lab results! Since then, we've transferred our other two dogs' records there and they are consistently patient, can always get us in if we have something urgent come up, and are so sweet to our three dogs even though they HATE going to the vet and can be difficult little patients while there . The vets and techs there also take their time and make sure all questions are answered and give lots of options and information every appointment. They also walked us through every price point and gave us several options of things there as well. Their bedside manner is so great and we are so thankful we found them! (For the record, we have seen multiple providers here, but usually see Richardson or Klar!)”
