You are better off going to Walmart and paying for new for a little bit more money. I went into this GameStop to buy a few games a month or so ago. When I went to the worker there to purchase them they ended up not having one of them, even though it was on display. Cool, no problem, things happen. I went in again a week later to buy more games and a controller. Again, one of the games they didn't actually have. The worker said she would put my info in for the controller purchase so that I could be in the system. When I got home the controller worked for maybe a minute before being unable to charge, no matter what I tried. I went back in the next day with the receipt she gave me to return the controller. Not only had she given me the wrong receipt but I apparently wasn't in the system and they wouldn't let me return or exchange it even though I was there the day before and the same exact worker was there both days. I'm never going to this GameStop again.

I have a customer card but I cannot use the points earned, which are for online use and when I want to buy online it does not accept them and when I call customer service they never answer me

Don’t go here went in to trade stuff in and after countless time asking for cash the lady gave me a card and said it was a prepaid card that could be used anywhere and it turned out it was a lie and they wouldn’t do anything to make it right

Great store with some friendly people. Best to buy from the store than the website (website owes me $100 and it took customer service 6 months to contact me back on a claim I did. Not worth my time or effort to do website or try to get my money back). The store has a good, understanding group of employees that are willing to help you and I am glad to go back to.

I misplaced my receipt, but was confident that through my membership they could at least give me store credit. I brought in the still sealed new game I purchased a few weeks ago to return for a refund. They mysteriously couldn't locate the game in their system, although they did find the PS5 controller and membership purchases that were made during the same exchange. I told them it was alright I would just take store credit. They wouldn't do that either. If I opened the game that I just purchased for 60$ they could give me $15 as a trade in. Not a smart trade in my opinion. The clerk wasn't helpful or apologetic, which is typical for this particular location. This just assured I'll make future purchases online only and avoid GameStop at all costs.

Went to see about trading some games in. They were too old for trade, but as far as a selection of consoles for sale, the men here didn't seem to be interested in helping explain the differences and help with a selection. Maybe next time.

Gamestop has always been a great store to visit in Tooele. The staff are good help and the merchandise is cool. If only the prices weren't astronomical.

I was in here about 3 months ago. Some guy that kept shouting "Don't you know who I am!? I'm Roman Staley! I didn't serve my country to be treated like this!" was throwing a fit because he brought his dog in the store. The polite employee tried to explain that only service dogs were allowed and ol Roman was losing it. Starting crying about mask mandates and freedom and rights for some reason. The employee, maybe manager, tried explaining that private businesses have the freedom and rights to establish terms that they're willing to do business with the public so long as those terms do not exclude any protected class, and that just wanting to have a dog with you isn't a protected class. The customer started screeching like those videos of antifa protestors in portland and I couldn't have been more impressed with the staff at how they professionally handled the freakout and ensured a good environment for the other customers.

Hunter at the front desk was super helpful. Got us hooked up with a Nintendo Switch Lite console and games and had lots of great advice.
