This hotel books you on an app listing a mountain view, and then confirms you with a room with no mountain view. They need to update their listing to what is true. Would not stay there.

My family and I will definitely be staying here again. Perfect location to stay at when visiting Capital Reef National Park. Beautiful, clean rooms with great views. They even had a pool and hot tub with amazing views of the mountains! We appreciated the laundry machines in the hotel which requires coins to operate. They also had free hot chocolate, coffee, apples, and even had Stevia sweetener, a little detail we appreciated! The restaurant had good food. Only downside of having a patio is you have people in the room above you, ours happened to be noisy and stomped around all night. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay and the rooms were not too expensive. Loved this hotel, we will definitely be back!

Lumpy mattresses (we tried to change rooms, it was the same). The mattress makes you roll to the center, so we didn’t sleep well. It appears mattress needed proper support.

I’ll be following up with the owner and the state about repeated discrimination I experienced, forcing me to pay more for an unacceptable room, ignoring the law regarding people with disabilities.
This is where you go when you can’t get a room at the lodge in the next town over. This place was wide open, yet they relegated me to a room not conducive to my disability, or refusing to book me at all. Because I have health problems and it was getting late, I didn’t have a choice.
The restaurant was worse than Olive Garden, but at least at Olive Garden they don’t force you to take it ToGo, telling me I’m not welcome to eat there with my service animals.

Hotel looks to be renovated. Beautiful views. The rooms were very clean. The thermostat in the room seemed to not sense when the room reached the desired temp so it was a constant battle on and off. The attendant on duty seemed very short and like he wanted to be anywhere else… I get it but it made us feel bad for asking a simple question. Location was wonderful, very centrally located.

It looks like a hotel from outside of the building, but is more like a motel from inside. The price is very high close to more a hotel, but the service is worse than a motel. Breakfast is not included at that high price, even worse there is no restaurants around opening in the morning. Not suggested. Or forgot, it is new.
One more thing forgot to mention. The WiFi in our room was very weak and had to go lobby to use it.

We stayed here because they are dog friendly. It's an okay place to stay, but can't highly recommend. The spa didn't even seem like it was open. The walking path in the back is covered with weeds. Our room had a small patio in the back but you wouldn't really want to sit there because it was windy and dingy. They really need to update the entire place. The food in the restaurant was fairly good. They do serve breakfast in the morning but it's not included. We chose to eat breakfast elsewhere.

A great hotel with an incredibly kind staff, comfy public spaces and great amenities. We ate at the restaurant several times and all of our meals were delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

I’ve spent over 10+ hours on the phone over the course of 5 days with customer service at the Red Sands Hotel in Torrey UT. I never checked in. I had to cancel my trip due to flooding and extreme rain/wind. I was told twice over the phone by Erica that my cancelation was approved for a full-refund but they didn’t take appropriate notes nor did they take action. Now they are saying I checked-in, when I in fact did not. I have an open case with my Credit Card escalations team so they can prompt resolution. Now I am out $400+ and have to wait for an additional week. I’m extremely frustrated by the lack of care, support, and hospitality shown by the staff, managers and customer service support staff that I have communicated with including Erica and Alejandro, and their managers (whom I heard on the phone being rude about my experience because Erica did not put herself on mute).

4.5 Nice place, great location definitely would come back. People are very friendly too. Dog area was the best ever. Views are nice too. Rooms a bit small and dated but clean.

Great location near Capitol Reef. We stayed 2 nights. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner there too. We had sunset views from our room.

Extremely overpriced. Wallpaper pealing off, standing water in jacuzzi tub, sandpaper towels, dimly lit room, toilets that don’t flush…I could go on and on. I asked for an extra blanked and was told I needed to come down and get it, despite multiple people working the front area.

Easy on line reservation and check in. Friendly front desk staff. Rooms were spotless generous portions for breakfast in on site restaurant. A bit outside of the town of Torrey so had to drive to dinner.
