This place is amazing! Honest, trustworthy, thorough and super friendly service. This was our first time using this shop and will definitely be using them for future service and maintenance needs. Highly recommend.

Best mechanic I've found in the area. I've tried a couple others only to be outrageously overcharged for essentially no work completed or else charged decent prices but nothing seems fixed. DJ and Ricky are exceptional at finding the root problem and doing high quality fixes.

AVOID THIS PLACE! Jim and Dave's are liars and dishonest. I had an appointment booked with them for a repair for 5 weeks. When the appointment was made, I informed them that I was supplying my own preferred parts. The woman said that was fine after checking with someone in the shop and then told me it would be a 6 hour repair. The day before the appointment, a different woman called me to inform me that the job would now be 8 hours and they wouldn't be able to finish in one day. I was told the first woman who made the appointment had made a mistake and that they also wouldn't install my parts due to company policy. They waited 5 weeks to correct their own mistake and then they refused to install my parts. Shops absolutely only do that because they can't overcharge you for parts. They could install your supplied parts with an agreement that they can't warranty those parts. Simple. Not so simple for a shop that intends to rip off their customers. I asked them to make an acception this one time because this was their fault. She refused. I asked if they would rather lose me as a customer and she said yes without skipping a beat. I called my preferred shop in the area and got an appointment 2 weeks later for HALF THE COST! These people are dishonest and very sketchy. Do you want someone like that working on your car? I'm glad they showed me who and what they are. They saved me future headaches and saved me a bunch of money by giving me a good reason to take my business to an honest mechanic.

DJ was attentive, thorough, exceptional at providing needed information, and very courteous. I was in a vulnerable position after an accident and I would recommend Jim and Dave's without any reservation. Thank you for your incredible service!

When my 1966 Mustang was restored, the guy who did the work was very proud of the rims he'd chosen for it, and he put locking lug nuts on each one to keep them super extra safe from all the hooligans in the rural community where I grew up. And by hooligans, I mean farm animals, because I'm fairly certain animals outnumbered people at the time. I wasn't convinced rim theft was really an issue in general, but went along with his plan because I'd had hubcaps before the rims, and was not interested in spending one more minute of my life searching for wayward hubcaps in corn fields. Upon reflection, I now realize the guy did this to cause me years of infuriation in which I could not remove my tires because a mechanic I once took the car to lost the freaking wheel lock. Finding a decent classic car mechanic is about as easy as locating the secret lair of the unicorns, and I thought my car was destined to be stuck with the tires it had on it until the end of time. But then I called DJ, the best service station owner in the entire universe. I kid you not. Aliens would bring their spaceships to DJ. Since my Mustangs happened to be in town, DJ did me the massive favor of not only fitting both of my cars in, but also helping me figure out solutions to a plethora of tire problems. And, using what I can only assume was some form of wizardry, DJ and Ricky also managed to remove the locking lug nuts---or as I like to call them, rim warts. DJ and Ricky are amazing, and Jim \\u0026 Dave's Auto Service and Repair is the best service shop around! If you ever find yourself in Northern Utah and in need of help, DJ and Ricky are your guys! ??

Traveling home to Colorado from Oregon and the truck threw a battery alert 60 miles outside of Tremonton. Suspected it was the alternator so first stopped at O'Rielly Auto parts to check it out. Craig (at O'Rielly's) highly recommended Jim & Dave's and now I know why! From the minute we pulled up Ricky immediately acknowledged us (though he was already working on another vehicle). Honest, friendly, fair-priced, and accommodating knowing that we were traveling through with 3 dogs. Within 60-90 minutes we were back on the road feeling confident about the remaining 550 miles home! So grateful!Go here - keep this awesome place in business!!! 6/5 stars for sure!

From out of state and car was over heating. Ricky was kind and got us right in. As we waited in the lobby I was paying attention to the guy behind the counter. Every customer he helped in store and over phone was treated so kindly. The customer service at this place is top notch. Thanks guys!

I enjoy the friendly atmosphere at the shop, and the savings on fuel I get from using the Dino app. Great business and great people you can trust.

We got a flat tire on the freeway right before Tremonton, we called Jim & Dave’s, they got us right in and fixed our tire immediately and quickly and with kindness in our situation. Great experience!
