Good place to stay, The RV area has limited stalls, reserve early, The sewer is to far away for most, but we worked it out. The RV/Motel has a great place to eat with live music, good fun for all.We would come back again.

RV's are definitely second class citizens in this hotel. The slots are rough gravel, not even or well levelled. the "grass" next to your door is astroturf and there is barely enough width for a picnic table, and there was a broken charcoal grill parked there. During our stay they were doing construction which is understandable if we had been told about it, but not amusing when cement pouring trucks are parked 5 feet from your head and start working at 6:30 in the morning, and dump trucks drive in and out using the slot next to us as an access road. The management was not at all responsive to our concerns and actually stated that since we were the only ones to complain, it must not have been that bad. Would not recommend simply based on their attitude. Oh and internet sucked, they don't have enough bandwidth to serve all their customers.

We loved our stay here! The pool and hot tub were great temperatures even though the weather was a bit chilly here at the beginning of the season. My kids played in those for hours and hours. We also spent hours at a large outdoor chess set they have, and enjoyed the firepit down near the restaurant. Each site had a table and grill. Bathroom and shower house was not heated, but were very clean and nicely finished, right next to the sites. The location of the hookups at the very end of the site was a little odd, but didn't bother us much. Our bumper pull is 30' when we extend it out, and we had plenty of room for our truck in front of it. We didn't have any cell service anywhere in town, and the wifi wasn't amazing, but it was decent enough. Gas station next door had a great selection of food and souvenirs, and there was a laundromat and great pizza next to that, so the location was great.

Extremely friendly office staff - they gave us lots of advice on how to drive to our next stop, Moab, during an unexpected snowstorm, as well let us stay a few hours past check-out to wait for the snow to melt! This was a great place to stay to visit Bryce.PROs:Very close to Bryce (15-ish minutes)Super friendlyRestaurant (Showdowns) onsite with nice craft beer selection and live music nightly.Heated pool and hot tub, even open in the snow! The restaurant hosts a big bonfire every night with free marshmallows and roasting sticks, which my kiddos LOVED.CONs:Pull-throughs are about 55ft, so if you're long and/ or towing, it can be tight. The campground is absolutely big-rig-friendly with wide roads, no trees, etc. Super easy to pull into. However, we have a 45ft Class A and our toad is an F150. We had to park the F150 perpendicular to the RV and it was sketch (front wheels basically on the patio of the site next to us and rear wheels nearly in the fire pit of our patio if we wanted to be mostly out of the road)The sites are close together. There's a ~6ft patio with artificial turf, a picnic table and a fire pit, and in the far corner of that 6ft wide patio is the next site's hookups, so you're hanging out with their sewer hose when you're sitting at your picnic table. That said, we didn't go to Tropic to sit at our RV, we used it as a base camp for Bryce, so this didn't matter to us at all.Overall, we had a wonderful experience. If Ruby's had availability we probably would have stayed there simply because they're on the Bryce shuttle line. However, had we done that we would have missed out on visiting Tropic, UT - this RV park, the delicious Bryce Coffee Company, the fun gift shop at Sinclair's (gas station), the Pizza Place (YUM), etc.

Nice little RV park. Great pool & hot tub. Gravel sites & drive. Not perfectly level but close. Very quiet. Their wifi was decent. AT&T and TMOBILE are very spotty there. The owners said Verizon works great there. Big rig accessible. We have a 42 ft motorhome.

NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY!!!! It is true they have pull thrus, but they aren't for big rigs. I specified in my reservation I was 45' long plus my 20' trailer. I could barely get the rig in the pull thru and am hanging out 5' in the rear and 15' in the front. It is impossible to hook up because the rocket scientist that laid out the utilities put them at the very rear of the site. What good is a pull thru site to put the utilities at the rear where the trailer is. Clearly, the owner only has experience with 5th wheels and pull trailers never thinking about motorhomes. That is ok and a business choice, but they should specify they don't accommodate motorhomes. Plus, it is expensive here... $55/night plus the 13% tax and I can't even hook up sewer and water.
