is it to much to ask that the self check out attendants don't stand around cussing like sailors as my kids and I are checking out. does no one have any respect anymore?

The location I found this Walmart was in Vernal, UT where I happened to be for several days on a job. Vernal is a 3-hr drive East from Salt Lake City. This is really the only store in Vernal where you can find most anything. So that's a positive. I did need hand warmers - temps were under 30 degrees F in mid-March, but they were oddly out of stock. I also needed to return a couple items I had purchased since we didn't have use for them. Arrived at 10:30pm (they do have generous hours of 6am to 11pm), but apparently their Customer Service desk closes at 10pm, so I had to return the next morning before departing. And Customer Service doesn't open when the store does at 6am - they begin at 7am. The people were all helpful, though. Yet unless you frequent this store you'll need to keep asking where certain items are - the aisles all look the same and it's a clutter of stuff.

The store is fine, but customer service could do better. Let my fruit purchase roll across the dirty floor and didn't replace the items. Arrived home to have to throw away the damaged fruit. If I am going to spend over $200 on groceries I expect better customer service.

I was just stopping quick to grab something But if your not white u will get a lot of looks, the employees look and sound like they have a stick up there butt , 10000% the worst Walmart I've ever been too

Well you know its walmart. I generally dont shop here. But we were in Vernal utah and this was the big store that we could find. They had pretty much everything one could want here. Food galore, candy, sporting gear, clothes, medical stuff, sunscreen and more.I was really happy honestly at this walmart. I have been searching for MONTHS locally, online and on facebook marketplace to find a new or used sit on kayak. Not only did they have them, they had a whole bunch of them!!!!! My best girl (dog) has cancer and I am wanting to be able to try to take her out on the water. I spent our time in Utah thinking about it and ended up deciding to buy one before we headed out. The employee that helped me was great. He opened one up so I could sit in it and compare it to my friends as this one was a little bit longer. Everyone was really nice. Their credit card reader was not really working the day i was there and ended up needing to use a debit card.

Zero enforcement of mask wearing in this store. I feel sorry for the employees who are wearing masks. Is this a management issue? Is this the norm at Walmart stores? The women's restroom had ONE soap dispenser and it was EMPTY. I appreciate that paper masks are provided at the doors, but maybe management should come to the front and enforce the mask wearing.

We finally were able to go out and spend the stimulus check that we were sent to help get the economy going. As we walked into the garden center, we saw the perfect swing for our patio. After several minutes, we finally located someone to assist us. He informed us that they had sold the last one that day, He checked to see if another one was coming in and found that it wasn't. We asked if they would sell the floor model. He then told us that the manager said that they had to hold it for a week. They did not want to have to assemble another one if they didn't have to. He recommended that we order it on-line. I went home and searched for the product. It did not appear on their website. The very next morning, I went back in and the floor model was gone!!! When I asked about it, I was told that they sold it. The MANAGER had given them permission. What was it about the people they sold it to that made them better customers than we were? When I called the customer service line, they basically said that the MANAGER had the ability to special order it in for us. When I spoke with the manager, he said he was sorry but he was unable to help us, with the pandemic and all. He did absolutely nothing to appease us. When the main customer service line was contacted, they again did nothing to even try and satisfy this customer but pushed it back to the local store. Is it because I am Hispanic? Maybe I should have just had my husband try and purchase it.
