“Absolutely amazing stay at Gooseberry Lodges! We booked super last-minute for Labor Day weekend as a quick Zion getaway with our dogs, and it couldn’t have been better. The cabins were cozy and spotless, and the communal bathrooms/showers blew me away—they were unbelievably clean. (I usually stick with Marriotts, so I was skeptical at first, but honestly, these were just as good if not better.)
Each cabin has its own fire pit, and the front office has everything you could possibly need—s’mores kits, firewood, fire starters, skewers, and tons of snacks. The dogs loved it, we loved it, and the night sky was the cherry on top. The stars were unreal—so clear and bright.
Best part? It’s only about 25–30 minutes outside of Zion, so you get the convenience without the chaos.”

“Just wrapped up a 4 day stay here and the place is great. The homes are pretty new and have everything you need and the views are obviously great. Feels way more private than a hotel since you have your own little home. Having River Rock right next door for coffee/food/beer is also a great plus. No onsite staff but you can text them with questions and they respond right away.
Was nervous about some negative reviews involving sulfur smell and noisy traffic. I could smell the sulfur for about 20 minutes one morning and then never smelt it again. You are right along a main road but the traffic noise is no different than any home/apartment I’ve ever lived in. It’s not noticeable unless you’re sitting there in silence listening for it; it’s about the same volume as the AC unit in the room.”

“Stayed here for a month on business and it was an absolutely amazing stay!! Super clean and quiet location. The rooms were very roomy (solo) with all the necessities that you need. Just bring your own bedding!! The on site staff I only met once and they seemed pretty friendly. WiFi was extremely powerful; definitely the best internet I’ve ever used in my life. Big parking lot with plenty of room for your vehicles.

I don’t think I’ll ever get back through this area again but if I do. This will be my first choice for staying at. The owners are extremely nice folks and I hope the best for them and their family.”

“If you want to stay in a nice, clean hotel, come here. ALL STAFF were absolutely amazing. We will use this hotel every time we come to utah, which is at least 2 times a year. Were from San Diego. Thank you for an amazing experience.”
“The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The highlight though was breakfast. The cook was new and she was so polite and accommodating. She said she had only been working there three days, but, she kept everything filled , everything was hot and fresh and she stopped and talked to everyone. Even gave us some places to hike.
Nick at the front was very helpful in the morning as well when we were checking out . Great staff. Great view and coffee all day. Thank you”

“Perfectly located near Zion, the surrounding area is beautiful. Lole, the front reception employee, was amazing. She was incredibly helpful after I messed up my reservation at another hotel. Highly recommend this hotel. Very clean and comfortable.”

“My daughter had her wedding at Under Canvas. She had shipped the guest's gift bags ahead of time. Staff at Under Canvas placed each gift bag in each person's tent. Overall made all of us feel valued and comfortable”
