Our stay at Under Canvas Zion was amazing.
The service, view and food was fantastic.
The staff was helpful and friendly.
It was our first time going “glamping,” and we were pleased with the entire set up. We plan to visit another site in the future.

Under Canvas Zion was amazing! Great location near the iconic national park, excellent customer service, wonderful, thoughtful tents, fun activities and exceptional meals! Da’Brion made great suggestions of local places to visit when the weather turned. Highly recommend this location!

Best camping experience. First time "camping" with my children and they enjoyed it. Pro-Tip. Bring lots of cold weather gear for October, because it gets cold at night. A fire stove exists to keep the tent warm, but you have to add a log every 30 mins. Will be returning.

Perfect location, great views of sunset and sunrise. Tents are comfortable, food is good like always in Under Canvas. Much better experience to stay here then staying in the valley.

Our experience at Under Canvas Zion was beyond our expectations. My wife would prefer a high-end hotel and was never interested in camping, but she loved our stay at Under Cover Zion and is already talking about visiting another location. The tent was clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable. The wood stove, even with outside temps in the low 40s at night, kept the inside of the tent very toasty. Can't say enough about the staff. All were extremely attentive, friendly, courteous, and professional.
Nearby activities: Recommend hiking the Wild Cat trail about 15 minutes away. 20 minute drive to the main entrance to Zion. Incredible views everywhere you look.

Our stargazer tent was clean, beautifully appointed with West Elm furniture and a very comfy bed and GREAT pillows! I have a hard time finding pillows that are actually comfortable in hotels, but these had the perfect combo of squish and firmness. The bathroom was easily operational with the pull chain shower (staff would turn up the temp of the water if we needed as it’s heated on demand with propane). The toilet was standard with regular flush and soft close lid, and you could flush the TP! There was a wood stove but we didn’t need it as overnight temps were still in the mid 60s. The staff even hung a “happy anniversary” banner in our tent as we were there celebrating our 10th anniversary! It’s personal touches like that that made our stay so amazing!
The grounds were beautiful and we loved eating dinner every night outside at the onsite restaurant watching the incredible sunsets, and sitting around the fire with other camp guests eating s’mores. We didn’t bring our kids on this trip but easily could have- there were games and plenty to do! I saw many families with kids of all ages enjoying themselves.
We didn’t mind the 35 min drive to the park, and in fact really appreciated that we weren't staying in or close to town. We loved the open space and vastness of the surroundings, the gorgeous colors in the sky at sunset and sunrise. I only wish the kitchen had some grab and go breakfast options like a burrito or something since we left for the park most mornings before the kitchen opened for breakfast at 7. The park parking lot also opens at 7, so to get a spot in there we left around 6:30 each morning. The couple of breakfasts we did have were delicious! I only wished I had noticed the French toast on the kids menu before I filled up on other items!
So many staff members made our stay memorable with their attention to detail, care, great attitudes, and friendly and funny conversation. Special thanks to SK, Chuck, Riddle, Rebecca, Chris, and Robert for making our stay so great!

Simply the best trip our family had been on. We really enjoyed the accommodations, loved the food and can’t say enough about the environment. We had so much fun each evening, we had to force ourselves to go to bed. How could we sleep with such an amazing display of stars each evening. It was breathtaking and we’re already planning our next UnderCanvas stay!

Great service. Really close to the quieter west entrance of Zion, but about a half hour to the really popular main entrance. Wonderful views. The food was ok and pricey, but understandable considering they’re in the middle of the desert. The tents were well cared for but in the end quite expensive.

Rooms: The tents were adorable, comfortable beds, good quality bedding and clean. No bugs got in! We had rechargeable lanterns and battery packs were provided. The tents also had a mist spray if it got too hot.
Nearby activities: We had not pre-booked activities but Under Canvas helped us get organised on arrival and we did everything we hoped for.
Food and drinks: The menu was great with a variety of choices.

This site is beautiful and the staff are very nice. Our misting system didn’t work. I was surprised you couldn’t eat in the tent (but it makes sense). Also surprised you couldn’t park at your tent (you may need to walk up to your tent though they do offer golf cart rides) and at the density of tents. If you come here I hope you are comfortable hearing your partners bowel movement because there is basically no bathroom privacy. Also limited hot water. Also, this might be obvious but didn’t occur to me, if you get the Star gazer tent you will be woken up with blinding sun very early. I recommend the Kings Landing restaurant in town. They do have food at the main tent that was pretty good, but I was disappointed by the Smores which they do on propane fire pits, not real wood fires like I’d expect. For the price overall I was disappointed but likely it was all info I should have been aware of if I read the website more thoroughly. So do your research on this place!

We stayed two nights at "Under Canvas Zion" and unfortunately the experience did not live up to our expectations. The nights were very cold, close to freezing, and the wind was intense, which made the stay uncomfortable despite the beauty of the place. We had to make a fire morning and evening to maintain a reasonable temperature in the tent, especially to be able to use the shower.
Additionally, the wind was flapping the tent canvases, creating a lot of noise – so it is not recommended for light sleepers. As for meals, we found the options very simple and lacking in variety, with few vegetables. Fortunately, it was possible to buy fruit.
In summary, although the setting is superb, the quality/price ratio was not favorable in our opinion, and we do not plan to repeat the experience.

It's so rare when an experience completely exceeds my expectations, and Under Canvas did just that. This group knows what it's doing! From the quality of the tents, bedding, lanterns to the amazing staff and incredible location, our stay was perfection. Even the food was amazing! Manager Jen is a ray of sunshine, you can tell she's a wonderful team leader. And one of our fave staff members, John, left such an impression on us! He went out of his way to befriend our little girl, who just adored him. Under Canvas Zion was truly a dream escape from reality, and we are now proud groupies of their perfect hospitality. We can't wait for our next stay!

Our first family glamping experience and couldn’t have been better than Under Canvas Zion. We had the tent with kids tent next to it and our kids loved having their own tent. The view out was unparalleled of the mountains. The staff were incredibly helpful and especially Riley was super patient with our kids with rock necklace making activity. The bed was very comfortable and food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious! Our kids also loved the campfire smores at night and made new friends. Definitely a memorable experience and will look to stay at other Under Canvas locations when we return to the US next time!
