DO NOT GET YOUR WATER SOFTENER SALT AT THIS LOCATION! I went shopping at Walmart in Washington City, Utah. It was hot. Seems their AC is not the same AC you would want while shopping. I really had to stock up including getting more salt for our water softener. Previously, you would pay for it and then after you put your groceries in the car, you would drive over to an open section where they had the pallets. Well, they have since moved the pallets into the new garden center and because they don't have cash registers yet, they have the exterior doors locked. So I parked where the pallets used to be and had to keep my car running. That made me nervous since if somebody drove off with my car, I would be out over $600 in groceries that I painfully gathered and checked out myself. Anyway, a supervisor by the self checkout told me I would have to come back into the building, but they would have the flat bed carts and would help me load. I asked him if they could just call somebody back there to see if they could get it ready. They said they couldn't guarantee that could happen. In fact, when I got there, not only were there no flat bed carts but when I asked the lady where they were, she pointed to one unused regular grocery cart. Even worse, the type of salt I purchased could not be found!!! So... I had to grab a different, more expensive kind. I was pissed by then, so with my adrenaline running, I grabbed three 40 lb bags and put them in the cart. The only kindness they lady extended was calling customer service to ask them to quickly refund me for the wrong salt and charge me for the one I didn't want, but needed. Each time, I emphasized that my car was running without somebody in it. There is zero concern for this!!! I told the lady at customer service that I don't understand why I could purchase something they didn't have in stock. When I do the online orders, it tells me if they are out of an item I want or it warns me that the stock is low. So apparently they can't incorporate the garden products into the inventory system. Back there, they must still have people who use a paper ledger and the last one on shift goes around and figures out which items are at zero. Then they write this on another piece of paper then put it on somebody's desk. Then the next day, if the paper is seen, they log into their computer and order more of the items at zero inventory. Morale of the story: Get your salt at Home Depot!!! They are smart there. The salt is near the cash registers or are in the breeze way after you check out. Someone will even help you get it into your car!!! It makes no sense that Walmart has people who go around and prepare your online order for pickup, but if you are actually in the building and ask for just a little bit of mercy by asking if somebody can grab the salt and meet you outside, that's a no go. That kind of request crosses their helpfulness line. What if you were aged or disabled? They'd say "You get your broken self out to the garden area and pull those 40 lb bags of salt into your cart or on your lap! This is Walmart Boot Camp. There's no special treatment here!

I'm getting frustrated with the app showing items as in stock, only to find they're actually out of stock when I visit the store. It's happened too often and makes shopping inconvenient.
It could be due to shoplifting, but items being out of stock when the app says they're available happens way too often. It's becoming a consistent issue, making me reconsider using the app altogether.
When the app works correctly it's great for finding good deals and easily locating items.

We were lucky enough to have Brent. Truly. What an amazing dude and better businessman. Him and his crew stayed late to get our tire done before we leave tomorrow back for Kansas. A great personality that truly cares about treating the customer with the best possible service and utmost respect. This Walmart is so lucky to have him. I can’t say enough nice things about him and the way he not only carries himself, but the way he serves each person that walks through the door. Brent, if you see this, you are the MAN and we are so beyond grateful for you brother. Keep up the amazing work. You deserve the world.

Walmart's prices have increased a lot, and I really hate that, but I like the variety and options of this Walmart, and it always has the best gas prices in the area.

This was a very nice Walmart back in 2009 to 2015 then it went way downhill. Now they have a new manager and it seems to have gotten better. I understand everything has gone up in price but now the shelves are not so empty. The only thing is getting your employees to check where they put the item, sometimes at the WRONG price. It says a cheap price then you go to check out and it's more than I would want to pay.

More accurately I'd give this 3.5 ?. The store was pretty clean for as many people were packed into it. It was difficult to find a couple items that stand out because they were nowhere near where you'd think to find them. For instance, cookie cutters were not in baking goods, nor were they in the kitchen tools/ accessories section. Also, there were decidedly rude employees mixed with a couple very kind ones. If a team member isn't kind, the business is better of without them imo.

Would not sell alcohol to a legal adult with a valid ID due to the presence of children. This is an absurd rule that I have never encountered at any walmart in my life. Would rate 0 stars if possible.

I always do grocery pickup and the shoppers need to be trained better on not giving people expired items. I have brought the issue to a lead in the department, Kaden, and it is still happening. On top of that, when I tried to do a refund for the expired products through the app and it tells me I need to bring them back to the store? I shouldn't have to waste my gas to fix a problem that was not my fault. I was given the option to call a 1-800 number instead but I also shouldn't have to take time out of my day to do that either. The employees caused the problem, not the customer. You should have a way to have someone in the pickup department to do a refund for the customer without causing all this inconvenience.

Walmart. You have some things I need, and so much that I don't need. It's not your fault, I'm just not in your main demographic. I got my alarm clock, I hope it lasts. Over the years your prices have gone down and down. That's great! Except that the quality matched it step for step. Down, down, down.
