Amazing people! They were able to talk us through how to get ourselves unstuck from the Salt Flats. I can’t thank them enough for being so helpful and saving us hundreds of dollars from having to get towed!

Charged me 1,600 for a 338 mile tow and he only completed 50 miles of the 338 mile tow. Dropped me off at a hotel and said good luck. Dude spoke barely any English, gave me condescending looks the whole ride and was very hard to have small talk with him. It’s almost like he has something against gringos. I was very polite with him the whole time and he didn’t tell me that he wasn’t comfy driving in a bit of snow until he went in the bathroom for an hour and left his car running at the gas station and then when he got back I had to ask him Like what’s going on and he finally said that he wasn’t comfortable driving in a little bit of snow. The whole drive he’s asking me to do his directions for him and check the weather for him and I also had to put my car in neutral for him and steer the car up the ramp for him aswell. Like I’m not paying you $1600 for me to do all the work and not have you communicate with me at all. Like have some respect for the customer man. I had a great experience with salt flats towering the day before this but today was god awful. Had a great experience with a dude who has been towing for a year on the 9th of January and had a terrible experience with a guy who has been towing for 6 years today the 10th of January. On top of all this pretty sure they took a battery bank and charger I had and refused to give it back. The one driver took it.

Literal life savers! Got a flat right outside of SLC at 4am in 20 degree weather and our jack broke. They were the only one to answer their phone for us and sent someone as quick as they could. We didn’t care how long we had to wait being over an hour away. We were just so glad they could help us.

I’m super thankful for Salt Flats Towing. We needed roadside assistance as we ran out of fuel on a road trip and they met us within 30 minutes with some gas. They were very communicative and efficient. Thanks for coming to our rescue!

Highly recommend these guys. I ran out of gas on i80 west about 40 miles from Wendover, totally stranded and it was hot as hell in the middle of no where. Called Salt Flats and asked if they could bring gas as a service and the service man pulled up in about 30 mins and filled my tank almost half way. Total blessing and I really appreciated it!

Had to get my jeep towed when it broke down on a cross country trip. Steve was amazing and friendly. He called me to update me on his ETA, made shop recommendations based on our location, and was a joy to chat with as he gave my brother and I a ride with my jeep to the repair shop. While I hope I never have to use a tow company for this sort of thing, but if I do, I hope that they are as good as Steve was. Thank you guys for helping me and my brother!Service: Car towing

There are good people in this world. We met two of them yesterday. En route to CA from Utah in our almost new Ram 3500 Limited Diesel towing Airstream 30 Classic trailer. Truck made loud noises immediately before exit to Delle, UT where a sign reads "Next Exit 66 Miles". Took the exit, truck died, coasted down offramp, turned under the freeway overpass and rolled into the shade on the side of road...somewhat blocking the road but off the freeway. Truck would not start. Called AAA who arranged for Salt Flats Towing to rescue us. AMAZING assistance from Salt Flats Towing. First, Steve, the company owner, came with a flatbed for the truck. Note that the nearest tow company is in Wendover, NV which is almost 90 miles from where we broke down. It didn't take that long considering the distance. For the trailer, we have a Pro Pride hitch (which we LOVE) but which can't be towed with a ball. Steve called in Sheldon who came approx 90 miles with a Ford 550. Steve did not leave us. They took our Pro Pride hitch off the truck and were going to put it on Sheldon's truck to tow the Airstream. However, the holes for the hitch and receiver didn't line up. Steve and Sheldon, undeterred, removed the Rock Tamers, shimmed up the Pro Pride receiver, then stabilized the setup with a clamp of some sort designed for a different purpose. Their ingenuity allowed them to tow the trailer safely. They could have easily given up and left us there but they did not. Even though our truck was already on Steve's flatbed, he stayed with us until both the truck and Airstream were being towed. We were able to ride with Sheldon but Steve even offered to take us to a KOA or wherever we wanted. He was not going to leave us stranded. Sheldon then very kindly towed the trailer 100+ miles back to our storage garage with us riding in his truck. Steve called later that night to be sure we were safe and sent pictures of the truck where he left it at the dealership for service. Steve and Sheldon are capable, hard-working, honest, conscientious and sincerely nice. We got home safely yesterday because of them. Our truck got to a dealership for repairs and our Airstream trailer is safely stored. This could have turned out very differently. To say we are very grateful for their help is an understatement. We cannot thank Steve and Sheldon enough for all their kindness. Now as for RAM..... Grrrrrrrr.

We called them and arranged to have our side by sides pulled out. We agreed on a price and location. Even dropped them a pin so they new where to go. After showing up they said price increased 1500 hundred dollars, and it was to far to go. They charged are credit card already and then bailed on the job. Not only are we still stuck, but we have been charged for service that was never performed. I left one star because I have to to leave a review.Service: Special vehicle towing

Called to get a side by side unstuck. They said yes and pre charged before they got to me. Once they got out here they tried to charge double and said they were giving me a good deal after we had already agreed on a price (and charged the card). They then said well then your on your own and drove away. The original price was $1k. Then tried to get $2,500.00Service: Special vehicle towing

If I could give zero stars I would how do you tell someone one price then get there hopes up just to get out to where they are and try to charge there card another $1500 on top of what you agreed on and already charged there card for not good business and on top of it they could have made a lot more money with all the others that are stuck out here to

Desperate times call for desperate measures… which is why forking out $600 didn’t seem like too much at the time to get our rental car out of the salt. Steven was straight to the point, asked for our location and pictures to get the mudcat out to us.It wasn’t till after I gave him the complete card information that he disclosed this transaction is nonrefundable once the phone disconnects and that someone will be out there within 45 minutes. We were trying to work with AAA but they wouldn’t be out for hours, so we agreed and ended the call.Fortunately, we did get someone out in 43 minutes and were out with no lasting damage to the car. The gentleman who got us out was very kind and helpful, overall it was a good experience minus forking out an expensive car payment for a mistake.Great business model as there is a demand but geez it’s rough being on the consumer side.
