Dude did not know the difference between chuck ribs and plate ribs. Thankfully there's more experienced people working at sam's club. So lemme help y'all out here.
"plate ribs" come from the lower belly area of the cow near the navel, resulting in longer, flatter bones and a generally more tender cut, whereas "chuck ribs" are located closer to the cow's shoulder, having shorter, rounder bones and potentially more connective tissue, making them slightly tougher than plate ribs

My son recommended this place because he’d just moved to Clinton and said the steaks he got up there from don’s were good. So I went to the the West Jordan location and paid 27 bucks for ONE bacon 16 oz Las Vegas steak and it was so tough I couldn’t even chew it. Very expensive and probably the worst steak I’ve ever had. And I’m not joking

If I could give this place a negative star I would. Unprofessional. Bad customer service. Unsanitary. The guy working behind the main counter should not be handling raw meat. I will NEVER go back there and DO NOT recommend anyone go there. I told the guy he was “getting raw meat on everything he touched” and all he said was “okay, thank you”. DO NOT GO THERE for your family’s meat!!

Went to Don's in West Jordan today.Been itching for a while... Being honest, it's hard to impress me anymore.... After I've lived the buisness all my years! But, a good friend told me to check it out... So here we go...Met straight up front with an old school hand shake, immediate small town environment! This to me is an absolute minimum... Check!Absolutely an awesome storefront, and from the front viewing all the BBQ seasonings, to the North with all the pellets you could smoke with seasonings, to the south with a great selection of hand made products, seasoned, and also top shelf cuts in the freezer section. They even let me assess their "USDA Choice Rib Eye" quality beef roast statement, very nice looking roasts they are using... Period!Wrapped correctly, done right from start to finish. AWESOME cleanliness, not a single issue noted, even dusting the racks...Purchased a whole bunch of stuff and can't wait to try everything! Very professional!10/10 We'll be doing business again!

My dad and I decided to go in on some meat. They said that they stopped doing the meat packages where they bundle different meats for one price. We planned on spending about $500 total. So they said to just wright down what we wanted and they would put a package together for us. So we gave him that price range and a list of things that we would like.
He said that for we mentioned it should be around $400-$500. (we said great) then, We go to pick it up and it is now $740. Not a huge deal we got a good amount but still it was still way more than we thought it would be (as quoted) That isn't near as big of a deal as the quality of the meat we received. The only thing I consider half way decent, is the burger. The Tri- tip we tried so far was riddled with gristle. We also got some thick cut T-bones. They too were extremely riddled with gristle and EVERY SINGLE T-bone we got are ALL missing the filet side. It just isn't there. We didn't order Bone in new York's, we wanted T-bones. The Ribeye's we tried so far are passable but still not very good. Needless to say for over $700 for only 85 lbs of meat, 25 of it being burger and another 15 being pork. I don't think I will ever be shopping here again.

This meat store, it's a real winner, a powerhouse of quality cuts. I've been to many places, and let me tell you, this one delivers. The steaks are champions, packed with flavor and strength. The staff here, they understand what it takes to be a winner in the meat game. If you want to fuel your body like a true warrior, this is the place to be. They were able to make my ground beef exceptionally lean. Keep winning, my friends.

Purchased 2 picanha wrapped together in plastic from this shop, look like 1 was actually picanha the other was different cut not picanha, both of them looked like was frozen multiple times. Do not recommend this shop, they cheat, was my first and last time buying from this place.

Every time we have gone in there we have gotten amazing customers service. Their meet is delicious too. Today I went in to get a bag of pellets and had my toddler in my arms and they came right over grabbed the bag for me took it up to the counter and took it out to my vehicle for me. I true appreciated that.

Stopped in on Saturday and were immediately welcomed by the friendly owner. It was our first time here so he walked us through the butcher shop. We ended up taking home the chicken bacon jalapeño cheese bomb. It baked up so nicely. We rubbed it with a seasoning blend we had on hand. We also picked up a few steak fritters and some frozen chicken cordon blues. Chicken quarters are a great price too. We will be back for sure. Nothing like buying meats from an actual butcher shop instead of the big commercial chain stores. The customer service and humor was much appreciated.
