The game I wanted is $15 on the Xbox store and they wanted $30 for a pre-owned version... I hope they just go out of business already.

Went to the store 01-04 at 745 pm to buy a ps5 controller with my son , Kyle was extremely rude and had poor attitude , we were standing in front of him waiting for him to sell me the controller for 5 minutes and he completely ignored us, I ended up going to a different store to buy the controllers, one of my friends told me about his attitude and I didn’t want a believe him , but now I will never go to the store because him . Manager should have a conversation with him about his attitude! Thanks

Ever since GameStop announced it was restructuring their operations after going bankrupt, If I remember correctly. But ever since then, they've(GameStop) turned into a version of themselves that's not worth supporting anymore. This is my location for the last 20 years roughly. So I ABSOLUTELY know what's going on here. All sorts of things are different now and just feel either more difficult or more disappointing. From the lack of Games, they've taken away all the Used Games besides the current gen or used current gen. Then they've stocked their shelves with more Comic, Video Game or popular products like Funko POP! Figures. They have gotten better about trading in games when it comes to protecting the consumer and their own business. But at the same time, still offer the LOWEST amount for your Trade-In's. (advice; there's actually a considerable amount of Really Good Game stores in the surrounding SLC areas that will give you a better amount for your Trades. GameChangerz, Numbskull, Gamers Asylum, Minus World, Retro Game Vault, etc.) Then they demand the oddest things now when it comes to trading in Consoles. Having every single little string, tie, cord, cover, etc or they won't accept the Console. Very frustrating. They still have basic rules that help them prevent any faulty or fraudulent Consoles. But now have taken it to another extreme level. Then there's the Rewards Points system that used to be able to use on just about anything that GameStop sold. Now you can only used the points in store on a game that's already released and on their shelves. You now can't use the points for gift cards, or PS, Xbox, or Nintendo online purchases, or games. Unless you have redeemed your points for Online Only. But then you can only use those points for only the items offered on the GameStop website. And you can't bundle them, like if you had your $5 web coupon and you had a Redeemable Points coupon. Just dumb. These little things can make ppl want to come back. But corporate just doesn't care it seems now. And customer service. It feels like they're not trying anymore to please the customers. Now I do understand sometimes, simply because the customer has become an A-Hole. But I mean the whole thing to make you feel welcome, talk games, or experiences with the customers. Little things that make you feel like you're at home. Just not there now. Because of everything in general, I order games from either Online(Amazon, Best Buy, or Target) and Amazon if I need accessories, etc. And I only trade in at other Game Stores. I very rarely go inside GameStop locations now. But every time I do, I seem to have a bad experience. If GameStop is going to keep trying to survive, their CEO needs to get customer feedback, and go see these locations first hand. Maybe, just maybe they can turn around the in-store experience again.

Pre-ordered the constellation bundle for Warfield and was told I would be able to pick it up today. Went in and was then told that it wasn't there and that the last time this happened it was over a week before the preorders arrived and that if I wanted the game and to play it early that I just should have preordered it digitally.I really used to love GameStop because they where a great source of video games. Now I am gonna be taking my business elsewhere because this isn't the first time this kinda thing has happened.

Staff was so concerned with pushing a membership/warranty that they failed to add a gift card to my receipt like I'd asked. On reflection, I'm glad it worked out that way. I no longer want to support a business with such backwards, aggressive business tactics. It's insulting to be treated derisively when you decline a 1 year warranty for a brand new game. (Never buy it!) I've been gaming for 25 years and the only issues I've ever had with gaming hardware have been with used purchases from gamestop. I'll not be returning.

Leaving this review as I leave this GameStop and noticed the yep reviews. This is my main GameStop. I purchase from here, preorder from here and more. The customer service is fantastic and the employees communicate well. I have asked some questions on games before which had been met with a confused face. The employees are helpful and will look it up and help search for the answers to my questions if they do not know. The products in the store are not always marked correctly but, quickly corrected when asked. Such as, the photo attached...says $54.99 when the shelf said $34.99. I asked and got a response that the shelf price was the correct one. To easy... all it takes people is to be informed, ask questions, know what you're buying and at what price. Either way to some it up this is a great store with great employees. The only negative thing I have come across are the opening hours being 12pm. Personally for me this sucks because I'm up and moving early and after the gym in the mornings sometimes wish I could stop by before heading home. I can live with it though and won't 1 star because the times don't me my schedule. Enjoy all!

I went in to get a game I preordered that was supposed to come with a free plague which was the only reason I ordered it at gamestop. When I went in to get the game I asked where the plaque was and they said they had ran out and that it was "first come first served" which was never mentioned when I had come in to place the order or when I had saw the deal online. Otherwise I would have ordered somewhere else.

Went in to support a local GameStop to order a game. Girl there told me they didn’t have it but they could get it from American fork to my house in 3 days. I proceeded to ask her to call them an verify and she basically kindly refused to do so, and insisted they had it. Against my better judgment I went ahead to order it, well it’s been 3 weeks, no game, tracking shows it’s coming from Arizona and that they just dropped it off to be shipped out. This is why shops like this are failing, I could of ordered it on Amazon for half the price, and got it same day. Won’t waste my time or money returning. Out of pure spite if the game ever arrives I will return it and order it on Amazon.

I went in here because I ordered a use game online that didn’t include the download code, which the listing said nothing about it not being including. The lady here, who I’m pretty sure was a manager, was no help at all and told me that I should know used games never come with download codes or DLC and wasn’t willing to help me out in anyway. I went to a different Gamestop and they were very understanding and acknowledged that their website is very misleading. They gave me a gift card and told me they were sorry for my bad experience. I didn’t even get upset or anything, they were just a lot more focused on customer satisfaction than this one was. Definitely won’t go back here.

Apparently some of the employees here like to judge and make fun of customers. They think they are are being slick about it, but it's a small store. Customers can hear you.

I'll never come here again. I've been coming to this location for years. My recent visit was my last. I went in to trade some games and to buy a new one. The female employee with blue hair who "helped" me was incredibly rude. She would not take my game, would not tell me why, and refused to help me find another location that had the game I wanted. I have no idea how someone can be so rude, but I don't plan on returning to find out. Not sure how Gamestop can afford to have such careless employees
