Honda pilot alternator went out and I wanted an OEM Denso rebuilt replacement which they said they had. I gave them my Honda stamped alternator and got home with their $150 replacement to notice no Honda marks on it. 2.4 years and 30k miles later, it's overcharging my system at 20 volts and making my lights flicker, then dies completely. Only use them if you want a cheap unreliable fix with a poor warranty. Better off with an AutoZone lifetime warranty.
They got my genuine Honda core and I got who knows what.

Every time I need something bizarre, they have it on hand or can make it for me. Like a starter motor for a 1978 Samsung.

I do a lot of wrenching, so I often need starters and alternators. These guys always have what I need and for a fair price.

I purchased a $160 remanufactured alternator for my Honda Odyssey in Sept 2021 and now 21 months and 12,000 miles later it’s dead. I called them and they said it’s a 1 year warranty and would help me out. Drove out there today and they said it’s only a 6 month warranty and would be $130 for a rebuild. They say it’s rebuilt to OEM spec but when the original lasted 12 years and 150,000 miles I question the quality of their components. I expect a product to last longer than 21 months. My advice is to spend the $ for a new OEM Desco or grab a remanufactured from Rock Auto for less money. For me I’m not rolling the dice with Generator Exchange again. They’ve lost my business.

I have a fully polished aluminum alternator for my classic car. I asked them to be careful to not scratch it up. The guy behind the counter acted like that was obvious. When I picked it up it was very scratched up on all of the sides!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. If the parts you need are available, they will save you a lot of money, and a lot of time. Thank you!

Forget parts stores, get your alternator remanufactured here. They had it done in 3 hours and it was $100 cheaper than a similar quality reman at a part store. They replaced everything but the strator and rotor, many "rebuilt" alternators only have the failed part replaced and leave the rest of the parts to fail soon.

I can not thank the kind folks at Generator Exchange enough, especially Brent! They rebuilt the alternator on my imported Japanese van after it went out on a road trip. I thought we were completely out of luck but Generator Exchange was able to repair the part very quick! Brent was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful and we truly feel like it was fate that we found this shop. Thank you again!!
