DO NOT COME HERE! It's unfortunate that this hospital is totally based on finances. They bill EVERYTHING separate. From your office visit to medication to the band aid you might need.Make sure you do your research or I guarantee, you will waste numerous hours calling the billing department, who I might add only works a few hours a day, to reach someone to help you. We were told the person we needed to speak to, Amy in Financing, was at lunch. We called at 11:37, she apparently, would be back at 1 and to call back. How nice for her....It would appear that after 2 days of wasted time that the left hand has absolutely no idea what the right hand is doing. But, they have no issue what so ever sending you to collections since they can't get their act together.Ever since Holy Cross took over, this hospital has gone down hill. Never had an issue with Jordan Valley. Maybe Holy Cross needs to get those employee's back and reconsider who they have currently employed.

I can’t thank the hospital enough for their exceptional care during my recent emergency dental visit. Suffering from excruciating pain due to a cracked tooth, they swiftly provided relief by covering it with a soothing gel, allowing me to make it through the night comfortably. The staff's professionalism and expertise were evident as they managed to reduce my pain from a level ten to a mere two by the time I left. Their prompt and effective treatment truly made a world of difference. I highly recommend this hospital for their outstanding service and compassionate care in times of need.

During my tenure of nearly two years at the company, I found the operational environment to be significantly substandard. The organizational culture was characterized by persistent inefficiencies and inadequacies among the staff, despite repeated efforts to address these concerns with senior management. Instances of incomplete reports, even after diligent notification to my director, were distressingly frequent. For instance, I recall an incident where I received a report only to discover that the responsible party was unaware of their assigned patient's presence for over six hours, indicative of systemic oversight.Regrettably, collaborative synergy within the institution was conspicuously absent, particularly concerning the interaction between nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Instead of fostering a supportive atmosphere, I often found myself expending considerable effort defending the completion of my duties and mitigating unwarranted disciplinary actions, detracting from the primary objective of patient care.Notably concerning was the misallocation of resources, as evidenced by instances where I, as the sole CNA, was tasked with overseeing three individual patients concurrently in the Emergency Room, contrary to the prescribed one-to-one staffing ratio mandated for patients requiring continuous monitoring.Compensation and benefits further compounded my dissatisfaction, as the remuneration offered was disproportionately low relative to the demanding nature of the role. Additionally, the administrative hurdles associated with benefits such as tuition reimbursement underscored systemic inefficiencies, requiring prolonged engagement and persistence to navigate. In light of these observations, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this institution for either employment opportunities or patient care. There exist alternative avenues that not only prioritize professionalism and operational integrity but also offer more conducive environments for professional growth and fulfillment.

My service while I was there last week Thursday to Saturday was great. My negative review is based on trying to contact cardiology to schedule an appointment for more test on my artery per the doctor that treated me. I left my information and was told they would call back for scheduling but now it’s going on 3 days with them not picking up when I call.

HOSPITAL FULL OF LIESThe only good thing I can say is that I'm glad I didn't die there. I felt the doctors were dismissive and vague about my condition and I left there unsure about what really happened, but again, I'm still alive, so that's a plus.I was in the hospital for three weeks total, and after the first week, I received a phone call from the hospital billing dept telling me that I have reached my insurance out of pocket maximum, and if I were to pay it early, I would get a discount. So I paid it while still in the hospital, not knowing how long I would be there. Months later, I finally received my bill and found that there was no discount as promised. After many phone calls, I was told that there was never any discount and never will be. The hospital also tried to bill my insurance in a way that caused my insurance to decline payment, and it took 6 months to get that straightened out. I was told by the hospital it was up to me to get it fixed with my insurance, they said, "we have no obligation to bill your insurance twice". It was a full year after leaving the hospital and about 100 phone calls later when the bill was finally paid by insurance, and WITHOUT the out of pocket discount of course.I don't believe what the doctors told me, I was lied to by the billing dept, and it was a nightmare just getting the bill paid. What a horrible miserable way to be treated by a place that is supposed to be there to help.

This hospital is vastly understaffed. I recently visited the ER at Jordan Valley hospital for chest pain. After the doctor's initial visit, they made me sit in a room for 2 hours waiting for some lab results. They never checked on me once during those 2 hours. I was desperately thirsty. I needed to go to the bathroom. I was hooked up to machines, so I couldn't move. Finally, I unhooked myself and found that the device to call the nurses was hidden behind my bed. Horrible experience! I hope I don't get a huge bill for the time I was sitting and waiting. They could easily have discharged me and called me with the results. This account is an alias, because I don't want my employer knowing about my heart condition. But my visit was on 9/30/2023 at 7:00 PM.

Stay the hell away from this hospital, their doctors, and any other hospital associated with them and their rude, greedy steward medical group or common spirit health as they are now known. They expect you to pay for your procedures up front, and if you don't, they won't do it. I gave them nearly $1800 dollars which put me at my max out of pocket for the year with my insurance, for a surgery done May 10th 2023, and still have yet to see a claim to be submitted to my insurance as of July 22, 2023. I have made over 10 phone calls to their billing department and I have been fed the runaround about why it hasn't been submitted and even been lied to after a so called "escalation" and promised 7-10 days that it would be submitted. July 21st was day 10 and still nothing. According to research and other information passed on by my own insurance, these hospitals will wait as long as possible, hoping you forget about what you paid them, and in the mean time you keep racking up more hospital bills and prescriptions you shouldn't have to be paying for. Then you meet your insurance maximum again, and they owe you for the amount you paid them, but again they hope people forget about the money paid, and keep it for themselves.

My surgery in January went great and the staff took excellent care of me. However, I overpaid the hospital prior to my procedure, and have been trying fruitlessly to receive the refund I'm owed for six months now. I am a cancer patient--I could do without the stress of battling to receive the $3,000+ of HSA funds this hospital owes me.Update: Amended rating upwards because the refund was issued promptly less than 12 hours of contacting the patient representative.

I have been in the New Vision program for 3 days and have gone through the worst withdrawals of my life. If it weren't for Dr. Mcdowell and the nursing staff Hannah E, Liz, Ashley, and Spencer I definitely would have left and probably wouldn't have made itin life. Can't give them enough praise and gratitude for putting up with all my whinnying and neediness. Thank you.

ER staff was caring and efficient! I was admitted with three breaks in my ankle. Next day surgery. The staff was kind, personable and efficient. I choose to do rehab at Jordan Valley Rehab! Amazing NURSES! Great CNA’s and the Physical and Occupational therapist were the absolute best!!
