Machines are always broken. Store is often dirty. Most Mavericks have friendly staff... Definitely not this one

Nathan and Devin are awesome. I'm a regular to this Maverik, there always friendly and super professional. When I walk in I feel like I'm going to see a friend. Not only do they take care of me but they are interested in how I'm doing. Give these guys a raise!

I stopped at the maverick at 1298 w 7800 s And I picked up a biscuit and gravy bowl but the biscuit was a roll I don't think they should make substitutions like that.It wasn't good at all.I usually have a good experience at maverick but not this morning.

Maverik as a whole is the best convenience store operation EVER!!! This particular Mav, however exceeds even the regular high standards you somehow ALWAYS find at Maverik stores.
Michael is a supervisor/front counter manager. He remembers me every time I visit. He is fun, jovial, and great at making me feel welcome and appreciated... going on like 2-3 years now!! Always friendly. Always helpful. Always available. Always fast.
Today my car wouldn't start after stopping in for a refill. I bought your jumper cables, and Michael promised to help me out. He made sure staffing was covered for a few minutes at the counter and used his own car to help jump start mine!!
BEST ORGINAZATION EVER!!! 🥰😍💖
( Thank Michael again for me... will ya? )

As I'm paying I'm getting customers behind me who set there stuff down on the counter.. no issues with that. The problem is as I pay. They don't back up. ASK YOURSELF if you were paying for stuff would you be comfortable with someone hovering over your shoulder to the side while you pay with a card? This is how my grandma's credit card information was stolen, twice.
It's happened twice here in the past week with customers, im a regular here and im just letting you know I will not be allowing it anymore. People need to learn that when people pay for their stuff you shouldnt be so close you can see in their purse. The lady that just checked me out told every hi and good morning, she always holds an attitude with me which I don't care, but she sparked up a conversation with the next customer behind me before even finishing checking me out. It's disrespectful. Esp if customers are paying with card. And you just invited the next one into my bubble. So they can see my pin. So they can see my i.d. I don't like the feeling of people getting my information because they don't know personal space at a gas station . The employees could simply help by not inviting conversation to the counter before finishing checking someone out. I'm so annoyed with this, and it's the same lady checking me out that does it, every time . Same lady that wouldnt let me buy smokes because I brought my kids in with me and had to prove my 14 yr old at the time was 14. She accused me of buying cigarettes for my kids.. and said I couldn't buy my pack until I provided his i.d. so I slapped his school i.d. down and said he's 14, he's my kid!
But what bothers me is it had to get to the point where I did that, and it sticks with me that somebody I don't know, like, or trust has my kids school information. It never should've got to that point. There's alot I could unfold right now. But I don't care who somebody is. But I do care if they allow people in my personal space with a conversation that can wait 30 more seconds until I'm done paying, so as customers were comfortable with our stuff not getting stolen. Our identity!
-came back today 9/13 same lady just checked me out, no hello. No good morning. No good day. Didn't offer me my receipt. Offered a bag, I denied as I have a big purse and the least amount if interaction with her the better. But I was met with "boy that thing looks raveled" I think she meant unraveled.. me ignoring her is me being grown an adult. Me ignoring her behavior is me walking away. But I'm done getting insulted.. You shouldn't comment on people's clothes or act better than anyone. Disgusting behavior for someone to treat someone so bad who has literally never done anything to her... Like I sat back n thought of every interaction, ive never done anything to this old lady to treat my family the way she does. So is your company biased against poor people?
Literally "oh you can't buy this or that with ebt" ... we know! We have cash for that, treating me like I dont know the rules to my own account and card or have cash at all, biased behavior.. it's getting old maverick. Not just the person, the attitude, the ignorance.

I used to go here every day spent about $200 a week. But since the road construction it’s only possible to pull in going north on 7800 s. So I’ve been frequenting the holiday Chevron right across the street. And the level of service is 10 times better than at the Maverick. The holiday employees Seem to be much happier.

The last few days I’ve come in, the pizza slices were 1 1/2 hours expired. Today, when I told the guy, he didn’t say a word and pulled out a pan to make new pizza. I don’t think they’d pass an inspection. This pic I took at 5pm.

There are FOUR ingredients required for a BUFFALO CHICKEN RANCH burrito:1. Buffalo sauce 2. Chicken 3. Ranch dressing 4. Tortilla (makes it a burrito) *Potatoes are a good addition to make it more filling, but technically not necessary. This location almost constantly omits two of the above-mentioned ingredients: Buffalo sauce and ranch. I get that the majority of the population around here is white, so maybe they can't handle spice very well, so a smaller amount of Buffalo sauce would be used. However if there's any sauce at all in their "Buffalo chicken ranch" burritos it's whiter than an emo kid, meaning that there's not a DROP of Buffalo sauce. And that's IF there's ANY sauce! PLEASE, either make the burritos right or change the label to read "chicken and potato burrito" so at least it's not incorrectly labeled.
