“I don't usually leave reviews on places, but I had to for these guys! I went in recently having never delivered a package before and was confused about the steps. When I told the employees this, they really went the extra mile to help me and make it easy to understand. (It's way more simple than I thought haha!) All the employees were incredibly kind, patient and informative. I will definitely be coming back to this location!! ?”

I’m not sure if I’m spelling her name right, but the clerk named Genna was amazing! When I came in to mail my return package, she helped me figure out how to fill everything out. I decided to send it through regular mail, but I didn’t have a label, sticker, or even a piece of paper to write the addresses on.
Genna was so kind and patient—she gave me a piece of paper, showed me where to write the “From” and “To,” and guided me through the whole process. I had my toddler with me, and he was tired and fussy, so I was already feeling overwhelmed. But Genna stayed calm, understanding, and very helpful the entire time.
I usually don’t have the best experience at the post office, but this time was different. Genna really made my day! She was thoughtful, professional, and genuinely cared about helping me.”

“Very helpful, it is much faster if you come with everything packed and labeled. We went there because FedEx was the best price out of UPS and FedEx, FedEx to ship what we shipped from the USPS was $332.00 and it would have made it there in 5 or so days but not guaranteed, with USPS it was $68.75 take same amount of time, sent Priority, no guarantee there either. I didn't ask about insurance on it.UPS was for the lowest price to Lima Peru, was $537.00! We ended up going with USPS because of the extreme savings. We shall see if the package gets to it's destination?”
“I realize there may be systemic issues with how the United States postal system is run as a whole, but I nevertheless had a very pleasant experience at the counter just now. The woman who took care of my shipment was very friendly, attentive, and personable. She turned this mundane errand into a delightful human transaction.”
“I was having some trouble with passport application. Darren, an employee at this location, went out of his way to help me with my paperwork. I went in unaware that they were closing, and when I found out, I didn't expect to make any progress with my application that day. However, Darren spared a few minutes to file and print my application for me so that it could be mailed out with no additional fees. I didn't even ask him to, he volunteered. I think this really demonstrates the standard of service these workers hold themselves to.”
“We went in to get our FBI fingerprints done and were greeted by the nicest lady named Cherri. She was so friendly and walked us through the whole process ending up getting our prints done. She told us it would take two days to get the results. We were very surprised to have the results within an hour. Fantastic Service!!”

“I had a package returned from the UK and they took the time to research and resend for me. They have to deal with a lot of federal changes and rude people and yet are always kind. We also enjoy the festive decorations they always have up, especially gnomes.”

“Love this location! Service is always really good, and they've always been friendly. Well, at least the ladies behind the counter. The staff there are all pretty knowledgeable in most things shipping related, any issues I've personally seen at the location were usually other inexperienced customers fighting/struggling with the USPS system, not that post office itself. Thanks for all that you guys have done for me over the years!”
“Dropped off a priority flat rate envelope here on a Saturday after the post office was closed. It cost the same and I got a usps receipt with tracking just like I would at the post office. No wait.”
“I came here on a Tuesday morning to mail a package - super easy! (You must have your package all wrapped/taped up and addressed. They can't package it for you.) Employees were friendly and fun, and I was in & out in 5 mins!”
“Best post office experience ever!- NICE AND CLEAN: This location is clean and in good repair, not grimy like most post offices. It also has some nice shiny brick arched walls in the interior, and some big framed photographs of historical Midvale - not super fancy, but a refreshing change from the typical dingy cheap post office.- FAST: This was my first visit so I don’t know if it’s typical or if I just got lucky, but there was no line on an early Friday afternoon in December.- FRIENDLY: I have visited various post office locations dozens of times, and the demeanor of the staff has ranged from hostile to surly, or indifferent at best. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one smile, until last Friday! Elizabeth helped me and she was positively lovely. She engaged in friendly chit chat while still handling my business quickly and efficiently. Nice to my kids. The other clerks seemed friendly as well.The only con I can think of: no automated postage machine here (the kind where you weigh and print your own postage). Not a big deal when you can get friendly (and most likely faster) service from a human.This will be my post office of choice from now on. I’ll go out of my way to come to this location.”

“I love this little post office. The staff are so friendly, I especially love when I get to see Pearlina. Sometimes the lines here can be long but it usually moves fast, and even when the line is long, the staff are always patient and friendly, and helpful.”
“Maritza at the front desk was amazing! She was super pleasant and helpful. I brought in two light but large items in one giant box that was going to be about $130 to ship. When she saw that I wasn’t expecting it to be that much she suggested two smaller boxes would be cheaper. She even helped me locate the boxes and offered a box cutter to open my box and the post office tape. (since my boxes were priority boxes) she saved me about $80. Thank you Maritza!! ❤”
“Adorable little post office, conveniently located in a grocery store. They aren't as well stocked as a typical post office, but I gave 5-stars due to convenience and friendliness! There was a very minimal wait and I was in and out in no time.”
“I use this post office 3-4 days per week to mail letters and packages for my business. Every one of the staff is extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. They are clearly understaffed (by no fault of their own) but still give 1000 percent each day and work so well as a team. Thank you for all that you do!!”
“I had ordered a little doll swimsuit for my granddaughter's doll, as we had also purchased a new one for the granddaughter, who was spending a few months with me. The little package got waylaid for several weeks. I finally called the Murray City Post office and spoke with Ruben. I explained the situation, including the package contents. He understood the importance, so nice was he. He tracked the package, kept us updated and hand delivered it to us the day before my grands departure. One happy little girl! Thank you, Ruben!!!! In 22 years using the Murray post office I've only had 2 issues. This one was resolved perfectly.?”
“This is a place where you can send packages to people and places, you used to have to send messages to people who live far away written on pieces of paper stuffed in another folded up paper before there was email, heck you probably still can. We should all go do that again just for fun and when the person you wrote the letter to says they didn't get it you have to tell them (It's in the mail) te-he-he”

“In November 2025, we visited the United States Post Office in West Valley City, Utah. This Post Office is on the Northwest corner of the intersection of 3500 South and 4400 West. This Post Office has a driving range to teach newly-hired Postal drivers how to drive in a variety of right-driving Postal vehicles, with the steering wheel on the right side. Fall leaves have been dropping on the driving range course, and the driving range will still provide valuable driving training experience for new Postal drivers.”

“I LOVE THIS PLACE! My fiance and I realized 20 minutes before close that we had a package that needed to be refrigerated so we really didn’t want it sitting overnight. My fiance called while I rushed over, and the lady stayed after close to help us out. It was so nice and so appreciated. Both women I’ve met at this location are so sweet and fun to talk to and v knowledgeable. I honestly didn’t even know that small postal businesses still existed but I’m really glad I know about Postal Hub bc I get to support them ??”
