Laynee did my hair today, she was very nice and pleasant to talk to and she offered a lot of solid advice on how to take care of my hair. I really love what she did with my it! My hair looks great. I recommend her highly and I will be returning!

Jackie cut my hair, and it looks pretty good. I wasn't sure what I wanted but she helped me out with a cut that I like.

Eulissa took way more off, and made it uneven. And, when I came back in Rachel still made it uneven. Terrible service.

Checked in the Roy location and was too early according to my app, then proceeded to removed from the top of the list. I actually went from 1st to like 4th without being away from the salon. Then I politely asked to remove me from the list and went to a nearby location, and the stylist cut my hair very aggressively and way too short. I asked her why she was going so fast and her response was I've been doing it for a long time so I cut hair quickly. Not the response I wanted when it comes to trying to look nice. I didn't feel appreciated and valued, which sucks because I've been very loyal to great clips for several years. I might consider paying more to get the respect I deserve.

Laynee cut my hair recently. She was very welcoming and friendly. She was thorough when asking me about how I wanted it cut, and took the time to show me how to style it:) Excellenct customer service!

I wish I could provide more detail, but unfortunately, we are limited by character count. This is my husband's account. On April 11, my daughter visited Great Clips salon in West Point. The stylist, Jody, cut her hair without confirming the desired length, making my daughter feel like the stylist lacked experience.Jody, the hairdresser, talked to my daughter about her brother's heroin addiction and the benefits of medical marijuana. My daughter felt uneasy and worried that Jody was trying to groom her into a potential drug customer. My son overheard the conversation and was shocked.Jody cut my daughter's hair in a way that she didn't want, ignoring her preferences. She explained the technique after the fact, leaving my daughter perplexed.Jody gave my daughter an uneven haircut, resulting in an untidy look. Jody suggested that we return if we weren't satisfied, but I'm disappointed and concerned by this experience. Moreover, the unprofessional nature of Jody's conversation with my daughter, coupled with the unsatisfactory haircut, has made this experience unpleasant. The lack of professionalism displayed has left a negative impression and has not met the expectations of a satisfactory service.Jody didn't give a receipt, didn't honor the coupon, made my son feel uncomfortable, and the total amount charged was $78.00.Spouse filed a complaint to corporate office on April 12, 2024, but received no response. Store manager acknowledged employee's several complaints and said the employee would not work there for long. Manager offered a pixie cut as an apology, but it was declined. Full refund of $78 was confirmed, and owner was supposed to contact, but never did.On April 19, 2024, I sent my husband to Great Clips for a refund. The staff offered only $21.00 and had to call Jacky for approval. During the call, Jacky used inappropriate language on speakerphone. When I arrived at the store, Jody was cutting a customer's hair.Jody then proceeded to call Jacky and handed me her phone. During the conversation that ensued, Jacky demonstrated an unprofessional demeanor by raising her voice and using foul language. Furthermore, Jacky refused to grant a full refund, despite having previously agreed to do so. In response, I raised my voice, as Jacky was not allowing me to speak. I was subjected to a threat by Jacky, who claimed that she would involve the authorites. It is important to note that Jacky was not physically present at the premises. It is worth noting that my tone was prompted by Jacky's unprofessional behavior, which was unexpected and unwarranted. While visiting a salon, I asked for the owner's contact information, but the staff couldn't provide it. They called the owner instead and I waited until the issue was resolved.Despite the staff's efforts to assist me, Jacky's behavior made it challenging for them to do so effectively. I requested Jody and Jacky's license numbers, but was denied access to the information. The hair salon experience didn't go well. I wasn't asked to leave but the police were called. Jacky, the manager, lied and changed her story. She has a history of being rude to clients. I was happy to sign a trespassing document as I wouldn't be returning. I hope the owner takes action.I don't know how Jody received a professional license or made it through cosmetology school, but dang. I was helping my son get ready for prom last night as he was having issues getting his hair to style the way Jody did, and to our surprise, his cut is awful as well.

Jody was so great!! She was very friendly and made this experience so comfortable and easy for me. I have really long hair so I’m always worried and have anxiety when I get my hair cut, but she showed me beforehand how much she was going to trim. I saw it after and it matched exactly what I wanted (I a lot of split trims.)She was also very polite and respectful towards me. I enjoyed her pleasantly engaging with me as a customer.

I've gone to great clips for a couple of decades now. I've always liked the convenience of being able to just drop in. I have a pretty basic cut. I went this morning and requested a surface trim, just like I often do, before cutting my hair. I don't know the name of the person that helped me beyond that she has red hair and said she's the manager. She started complaining about surface trims and that it's making my hair look bad. No, the fact that it's been 4 months is the issue. I tried telling her that i appreciate her knowledge etc but I know my hair and what I like. This went on for several minutes, making me extremely uncomfortable. I asked her again and again to please stop the discussion as I didn't want to keep talking about it. I just wanted a haircut. She then starts saying she doesn't know who invented the surface trim. I stopped her and again asked that we don't have this conversation. I said I get she's experienced etc. But this is what I want and being the customer it is about what I want done with my hair. She then rudely stated that they have the right to refuse service. I asked why would she say that when all I did was ask her to stop going on and on about surface trims. She then told me to leave because I can't talk to her that way. I never raised my voice. I calmly and politely asked her, always saying please, to stop complaining about surface trims over and over. She just ignored my requests over and over. I did ask for the managers information and she said she is the manager. I've never felt so uncomfortable just trying to get a hair cut. I did call customer service and am supposed to hear from the owner of the West Point Utah location to contact me.Update: I received a call from great clips. Only it was the employee from the incident. I believe it was inappropriate for her to find my information again and call me without my requesting her to call me or me speaking to the owner of the franchise first. It initially sounded like she wanted to apologize. Unfortunately it then became her saying she thought I was talking bad to her by telling her "We are done". As in: done talking about surface trims.

Worse hair cuts I have ever seen, my husband came here to get a hair cut last week with Jackie (the manager). It looked terrible like it was her first time doing it. Where are this people getting their licenses from? Stay away from this place

I take my granddaughter here to get her hair washed and brushed and styled every week. It is the only place I can take her and she doesn’t cry. They are so patient and gentle. She has very curly hair and it tangles easily. They recommend home care and encourage her to brush her hair regularly. We love the stylists there
