I attempted to use the ATM at this location on Saturday. The machine took my card and then gave an error message and wouldn't give me cash or my card back. This was very frustrating, since I had no other method of payment, and the banks were closed for Veteran's Day.I went to the bank Monday morning to get my card back and was told they could not return my card because it is from another bank. The reason? "There is no way to verify it's mine". I have my ID. I can recite the card number and tell them what it looks like. But I can't have it back.Utterly ridiculous. I am not a member here and I never will be. I will be encouraging my wife and roommate to close their accounts there as well.

Started to Checking and savings account at Cypress. The whole process from beginning to end was very easy and was explained to me every detail that I needed to know about checking and savings and what they have to offer. I recommend this to anyone in the family.

I came in to get a new card, starter checks and a debit card. I was informed since no fraud had happened in my account I was going to have to pay $10 to replace my card ( I have had the same debit card for years) when I asked the teller why I had to pay the $10 fee since all that happened was that I lost my card and no fraud happened she laughed and said “well YOU lost the card” what terrible costumer service was that. I will empty my account and close it. When people are going to a branch is because they are coming to get helped no laughed at. It would’ve cost this teller nothing to call a manager and waive the fee but instead they made my interaction a bad one

I want to know how a man without an account number was allowed to access an account to remove several THOUSAND dollars housed through another credit union using THIS Cyprus credit union location. When we were told by other Cyprus credit union managers that they HAVE to have an account number in order to access through the "shared branch" system.This branch allowed a man without an account number to withdraw several thousand dollars. He had no knowledge of this account, until it was presented to him by this credit union, therefore he had no account number. The account isn't even through a Cyprus credit union, its through a completely other credit union. But he went in, told the person he needed to withdraw some money, didn't have an account number, the teller looks him up based on his SSN (which we were also told they "do not do", but apparently DID do this time because he didn't know the account he'd need to withdraw money from) and he was given the information pertaining to THIS account, that he had no previous knowledge of, had never previously accessed, he had no debit card information related to said account, did not know the safe words that we'd put into place and the credit union proceeded to provide him with the account number and information, as well as several thousand dollars from the account.

The last several times I have been in a branch, I have ask your employees if they had any, "FEDERAL RESERVE NOTES," and for some strange reason they either don't know what they are or just say no. I have also asked people who handle money if they take Federal Reserve Notes and get the same response. It is sad that the school systems do not teach this anymore, because that is where I learned about our money system. I have always had great service at any branch of Cyprus I have gone into.
