Van did a great job with my son's perm. She was quick, efficient, and friendly. She was great!
I am taking a star away from my rating because I was involved in workplace drama by another hair stylist who kept complaining that Van was taking all the clients and she needed clients, too. It was an ongoing thing that she complained to the customers, and to Van about the entire time I was there. It was very unprofessional in my opinion and stressful to continue listening to this during our visit. Hopefully this will be addressed by management.

Teri was absolutely great, I was a little worried about getting a haircut from someone who I don’t usually go to. But she did a fantastic job, she was so friendly and if you like to talk to your stylist Teri is the right person to go to.

We walked in asked for a hair cut, 2 stylists where there not busy. There was no one else there. We showed the stylist a picture of what cut was wanted. It was an exteme change cut over 18 inches off.
I would not say they were rude but we were not spoken to again until we payed. And then only how to tip.
The haircut was fine, though not exactly what we wanted. There was no offer to style it, or even a blow dry. We paid for an adult cut and tip. Not a very pleasant experience.

I booked a cut, style, and partial highlight with Jade—and I absolutely loved her! She listened closely to what I wanted, looked through inspo photos with me, and clearly explained the entire process. I’ll definitely be going back to her!
Unfortunately, my experience was impacted by another stylist -I believe Teri, in the salon. She mentioned being new and from Orem. As I was checking out, she abruptly shoved a camera in my face asking if I wanted to be on TikTok. I politely declined, but she kept talking over Jade and still tried to take my photo. Throughout my appointment, she loudly vented to her clients about her old salon in American Fork and made several judgmental comments, which felt really unprofessional—especially given her complaints about being judged. She also made a comment about liking West Valley because “people aren’t all white,” which, while I understand the sentiment, didn’t feel appropriate in that setting.
All in all, I highly recommend Jade—she’s talented, attentive, and professional. I’d just personally avoid the new stylist Teri.
