Great gym! Was traveling on business, and this gym is part of the network of fitness organizations that allows me access. It's so great to be able to go to a real gym instead of the lousy hotel "workout room." This place really has everything; machines, free weights, cardio, functional fitness area, pool, sauna, steam. The facility is very large, and even though it was pretty full on the nights I worked out, I was always able to find a station that was free. George at the front desk was awesome! Even had an opportunity to meet his mother! Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you, Vasa Fitness!

Please fix all treadmills especially the freemotion, I was going 8 speed and the machine just turn off. This is a very dangerous and hazard situation, could hurt someone really bad. For what we pay we deserve all working treadmills.

Visited this gym when my home gym steam room was down and I was amazed that I’ve never seen a steam room how it SHOULD be! This gym was way clean and everything worked how it should, just nicer overall. The staff was also super friendly and accommodated my needs.

I would give zero stars if possible and I would love to sue Vasa fitness for their absolutely revolting business practices. (Which they have already been successfully sued for in the past. A quick google search will verify this.) You should find Vasa fitness in the dictionary under "Racket." Never in my life have I been more disgusted by a company. $10/month is such a great deal for a gym membership, right? Well, yes, if you don't factor in the sign on fees, the rate guarantee fees, the annual fees, the home gym relocation fees, the cancellation fees, and the fact that you're forced to pay for an extra month of membership that you aren't able to use just to cancel with Vasa. Their "reasoning" for this chicanery is some bullshit along the lines of "Oh, well it takes us 30 days of nonstop labor to process your cancellation payment so we need to charge for an extra month to cover that." So, you pay for an extra month of fees to cover their incompetence; but don't worry, you lose access to the gym the second you hit the cancel button. As far as the quality of the gym goes, the reason that I sought to cancel my membership with VASA in the first place is because after moving to a new area and touring their West Valley location, I was wrought with disgust by the shamblic state of their gym. Peeling wallpaper in the locker rooms, suspicious black sludge in the showers, a myriad of waste covering the unswept floors, and the putrid and ever-present smell of mildew throughout. Needless to say, I did not feel inspired to pay the $25 relocation fee. Even as far as gyms go, Vasa is by far the worst. I hope the heartless bastards at the head of VASA like their sauna hot because surely fire and brimstone is what awaits them. (No, that wasn't a threat, you idiots. Grow up.)

First star because the place is clean, second star because of the availability of equipment, half a star because most of the staff is friendly, the other half because of the sauna and steam room. No star for bathrooms and changing rooms are not kept clean and the other no star because a day pass is 15 dollars. 9 dollars might be a more adequate price.Honest review, TJ.

These centers, no matter which one you go to, all are falling apart. Showers are out of soap or missing the dispensers all together, any one of the amenities are out at any given time, locker room is dirty and run down, so many machines are out of order, and it just seems that they don't even care about it. Close to canceling my membership and going somewhere else that is better taken care of.

Even after they told me to my face that my membership was frozen, they kept trying to bill an inactive card & ended up sticking me with a huge bill of trainings I never got to attend. Refused to honor the unused sessions & demanded I pay them $800 for a dozen sessions I never attended. Didn’t feel like fighting it in collections so I just paid & left the gym. It was their own mistake but they don’t care.

I've been a member for about 10 months and this Vasa has to be the dirtiest Vasa in the US. The machines are dirty, the bathrooms are dirty, the sauna is filthy and the floors are too. The lights in the men's bathroom took 2 weeks to change out a single light bulb in the private changing room after I advised them to do it several times. I went to cancel and it was a nightmare to do it with all these cancellation fees that I just stayed with them but now I'm going to cancel them and go with EOS with hopes of a better and clean facility with better customer service and equipment. Too bad Vasa because your close to me but I just can't with you guys anymore. Enough is enough!

The worst gym and customer service ever. A bunch of thieves. I called to cancel my membership. But I still received a letter from the collection of about 400 that I had to pay for service. I never enjoyed it. Again, thieves.

The cleaning needs improvement big time. Especially the steam room because it always smells like pee in there. And the gym gets so crowded and with some of the machines being broken it's discouraging to want to go there and sit around waiting for a spot to do an exercise. Fix the broken machines in a timely manner please

You have 6 workers behind the desk and I still had to ask then to clean the damn tanning bed. It's a rare occasion that the tanning bed even works but then you have to do the staffs job of babysitting it for the person to come out then you have to go tell them to go clean the bed and wait another 9 min for the solution to work it's a joke Im switching to planet fitness it's cheaper and has 5 tanning beds. Bugged AF

I would like to start with I love how many locations there are... with that said, I am sitting in the parking lot of your west valley location, watching as it is STILL not open and people are leaving. This happens more often than not. I come to the gym this early because it is literally the only time I have in the day. It is ridiculous that this location has such difficulty opening as scheduled. This is the only place I know that finds it acceptable to open late regularly. Whether it is 15 min or 30 min, it cuts into a person's schedule. I pay for a service that I am not getting, meaning I pay to come to the gym at 5 am... I am now being allowed to access the gym at 5am... y'all need to fix this.

The dirtiest Vasa gym in town, starting at the parking lot so much garbage always, no matter the season, the equipment that is broken has been broken for years and no one is there fixing it or replacing it. Yoga classes are good, I rather go early or drive a few miles to a different location. Could use more hygiene in the bathrooms, some of the Women’s toilets aren’t even attached to floor, smells of sewage, . Mold in the wall as by hand dryer… Gross!

I post this with a heavy heart.The facility was pretty good. The selection of equipment was up to par. It was clean and well organized with many options of exercises. The staff were friendly and welcoming with great customer service.This location only gets 4 stars due to its clientele. I've been to many gyms in many cities and states. I've been a member at a few different gym companies and I've never had this happen to me.I went in for a workout and stayed in a small area no greater than 6 or 7 feet and was the only one working out on a particular bench in the free weights area when I had a very expensive pair of prescription glasses stolen from me. Can I be partially blamed for not paying attention, sure. But the fact remains the same. They were stolen. And not misplaced. It's been about a wk and they have not turned up.I'm sorry but I will not be returning to the facility.
