They always call before making any changes to the vehicle to inform you of the issue, the parts/service needed, and estimate of the total cost so there are no surprises. They are quick and communicative, and call to let you know when the car is ready for pick. Plus, no pushy sales or unnecessary services, just what ask for to get you back on the road, but seem happy to provide recommendations when asked.”

“I want to give a huge thank you to Jesse at Mike Palmer Automotive. Even though they didn’t end up servicing my vehicle, his honesty and willingness to help made a huge impact. When I called and shared what the dealership had told me, he immediately recognized several red flags and strongly urged me to get a second opinion.
Jesse took the time to guide me on what questions to ask and even recommended another shop to check things out. I followed his advice, and I’m so glad I did. The second diagnosis came back positive and ended up saving me $10,000.
Unfortunately, their Toyota specialist was out on medical leave at the time, otherwise I would have absolutely trusted bringing my vehicle to them. That said, Jesse’s integrity and genuine desire to help (even when it didn’t benefit his shop directly) speaks volumes. I would not hesitate to contact Mike Palmer Automotive in the future. “we were heading to North Dakota from Yuma, Arizona, and had to stop in Salt Lake to get brake pads because my right wheel started hanging up. we also were towing a 24 foot toy hauler behind us so we had a heavy load. and I wasn’t too keen about having to put them on myself with the heat and having been on the road all day long plus Salt Lake City traffic . I was recommended to run over and see Carlos by the parts store here as he was just around the corner and it was late in the afternoon. he had closed early today because he was working on rebuilding an engine for a friend and a customer so I knocked on the shop door and he opened, after hearing my predicament he happily said pull the rig on in and l will do it. wiper prices were more than fair, the waiting room was clean, air conditioning, and had a monster TV on the wall. we were out of there back on the road in less than 1.4 hours and happy. this man is a very caring person and wants his customers taken care of. I would recommend him to anyone..”
“I took my 2016 F-150 into Metric Motors for multiple services, including a front differential flush, rear differential flush, engine coolant flush, transmission flush, transfer case flush, and also to diagnose an oil leak that had previously been looked at by Larry H. Miller. Metric Motors ended up finding the real issue and saved me from chasing the wrong problem.

“I greatly appreciate the personal service Aaron and his crew gave to me. He was very helpful by being thorough and taking the time to diagnose what was really going on with my vehicle. He looked at past invoices from another local dealer mechanic and even called the other place for clarification on what was done (not done) as the other place was saying there were other more expensive issues that needed fixing.
Aaron helped explain what was going on, gave me pros/cons of different options and a plan for next steps.
I found this much more helpful, trusting, and confident in what I need to do rather than just getting an expensive quote from the dealership shop without being able to discuss options.

“I purchased a 1970 Pontiac GTO that was converted from an automatic to a manual transmission in Oregon. The mechanic that did that work really hosed me. Explaining what happened to Jimmy and Randy at Intermountain Trans, they were able to squeeze me in, figure out exactly what went wrong, and fix it. It actually took a little less time than they quoted me, and they charged me a reasonable price. The previous mechanic also messed up the brakes which IntermountainTrans was able to correct. All-in-all, I'm quite happy with the level of communication, service, and price that I was charged. I would recommend IntermountainTrans to anyone else!”

“It was Labor Day Monday, and most of the national repair shops were closed in Salt Lake City, my family and I were driving in our Sienna pulling our Corolla from Sacramento, CA to Rockford, IL, but on our way coming down the hills the Sienna braking system was acting up, I search for a shop in the area, but everybody was closed for the holiday, then I found D-R Auto repair, I called and spoke to Uziel, I explained the situation, I brought the car over it, Uziel told me it will be done by 6pm, he did work on it had my car ready before 6p, drove all the way to Illinois with no problem, great service, great communication, great job, thank you Uziel!”

“Curtis fixed both of my 2 broken headrests from a rear end car collision, both headrests popped due to the safety whiplash mechanism designed in the vehicle.
Curtis and his team are all killer proffesionals and get the job done quickly and efficiently. The communication via texts and updates are on point and respectable. I highly recommend this place for miscellaneous work on your vehicle. I've been here twice and definitely returning in a few weeks to a month or so to have some other misc. repairs done on my Hyundai Genesis v6 2012. I'm in the process of restoring the vehicle and these guys are A#1. 👍 👍 👍
