BEST BIKE SHOP AROUND! Darren was BY FAR the most knowledgeable and professional bike mechanic I have met. You can tell he really cares about what he does. Customer service like no other shop around! All other shops just pulled the bike out and told me the price, Darren set my sag front and rear, set tire pressures to my weight (including my Camelback) and answered any questions I had without hesitation. Anyone I talk bikes about I will certainly be sending his way, great guy and shop!

I emailed at least 5 bike shops regarding a possible brake repair on my standard, run of the mill bike. Darren emailed me back within the hour (!) - his response was detailed and very helpful. Hubby and I are now customers for life! So nice to find a shop that doesn't turn up their nose at a basic bike!

Happy to have a great local shop! I needed a couple new tires for my new to me fat bike, gave them a call on Saturday morning and they had exactly what I needed at a solid price. Curbside pickup made it quick and easy but I can't wait to be able to come in the shop and check everything out. Thanks!

I stopped into the shop about a month ago when I started thinking about getting a bike. I let Darren know that I wasn't buying anything that day, but wanted some advice. He had no problem taking a bike down for me to look at and teach me about the some of the differences between bikes. I don't just give 5 stars because of one visit. I was there 3 times that day. 1 for Darrin to look over my new to me bike that I didn't even buy from him. He showed me a bunch of stuff about the bike. Blew the tires up and adjusted the shocks. Due to the fact that I'm heavier than I look apparently, I returned and he had to adjust it again. Very helpful and treated me like a long time paying customer. I explained my wife needed a new bike. Just talk, he didn't know me from Adam. When I returned to purchase the new bike, they fit my beautiful wife to the correct bike and explained it thoroughly. I recommend Vermont Bike Shop highly! Great experience and great people!!!!!!!
