A pretty decent thrift store in Barre, VT located in an historic old granite works building. Super nice people and the place has pretty fair prices, too.

This is a great place to find good deals on random household things you might be looking for. They have everything from furniture and appliances all the way down to kitchen utensils, and all sorts in between- clothes, toys, books, and more.
Pricing is pretty good. Some things seem like a steal, but a few things here and there have the typical retail prices.
Overall a good place to stop just to see. It's decently organized and new things come in all the time.

I visit every time I'm in Barre. Was excited to find two cow bells to add to the collection. Thanks to one of your associates (didn't get her name)

I love ReSOURCE. There’s so much to see! For having so much merchandise, the store is well organized. It really bothers me that so many reviews are so negative…complaining about high prices because ‘everything is donated.’ Yes, it is donated, but there overhead costs, just like any retail store. Rent, maintenance, payroll, liability insurance, electricity, internet connection, heating, and cooling to name just a few. Think! Engage your brain before typing.
My negative review is from a woman who called and left a message about donating a sofa. She never heard back, but drove two hours anyway. Well, duh, that was stupid. Do you really think they have time to return every call? Talk about entitlement.
Anyhoo… never mind the negative reviews. It’s a thrift store! It’s a great thrift store! Visit the store! You won’t be sorry.

While the store has become more organized the staff is extremely rude.

Called and left message that I would be bringing a couch to donate. That if there any issues to contact me and left my contact information. No call back. So thought no issues. Arrived at store to be told they are not taking furniture. 2 hours travel. When a phone call would have saved the trip

The staff (besides the man that does pricing) are all kind. But they are getting beyond greedy with the prices lately. Everything is donated and should be priced low. There’s a reason the store is a mess and items are sitting. No one is going to pay 375 for a dresser and 500 for a sofa. They managed to make the store even more disorganised than it was prior to the flood. Disappointed that low income folks have nowhere affordable to shop these days.

Love this store! You never know what you'll find here, I needed something the other day and couldn't find it in any stores in the area, so I went to Resource and I found what I was looking for.

We love donating to and buying goods from this Barre location Resource . People there are friendly and you can get great deals on housewares and home care products. We have purchased and donated toys and every kind of book. We are always excited to look and see something we need. John and Wendy Hall.

This place used to be so great.
Items are pretty overpriced now.
Itd be great if you'd open Sundays or evenings so people with regular jobs can come.
But my biggest concern is people who are elder or have mobility disabilities are no longer made to feel welcome. Today, when I went in, there were no carts because about 4 to 6 were loaded with junk and scattered through the store. When I mentioned this to the cashier, she was pretty dismissive. There used to be walkers and wheelchairs for customers as well. Please consider all your customers, not just the able bodied ones. Thanks.

The place is a complete disaster. Nothing is organized. Messy and sloppy
