“An amazing place to thrift. It appears well supported by generous locals with donations and time. Prices in both the main store and annex are very reasonable. Every staff member we came across was in good spirits and very accommodating.

Expect the main area to be very affordable filled mostly with previously enjoyed and loved items needing a new home. I will say there's not really anything for housewares and/or furniture if that's what you're looking for.

Clothing abound in all shapes and sizes spanning generations. Men's, Women's, Children's clothing such as outerwear, shoes, shirts, jeans, skirts, and much more. Tasteful costume jewelry and plenty of things to sparkle and catch the eye. Just about every item in the main area is five dollars or below.

The annex part is clothing and apparel that would be more expensive name brands, prom dresses, and formal wear. But don't let that stop you from thrifting from that side. I personally found an outerwear brand that you'd buy for life for about 1/3 of the price you'd find in other thrift stores. My daughter found a skirt with the original tags on it that was originally for 110 dollars for only 20. Some really good deals can be found and it appears that they try and stay on top of keeping stock neat and well organized.

“The Bene-Fit Shop does a great job of providing good quality clothing to the Barre community. It is true that the prices have risen. But so has rent and utilities. Having to pay a few more dollars for clean, stylish clothing is well worth it if it keeps this gem in business.”

“This is a great place to find good deals on random household things you might be looking for. They have everything from furniture and appliances all the way down to kitchen utensils, and all sorts in between- clothes, toys, books, and more.

Pricing is pretty good. Some things seem like a steal, but a few things here and there have the typical retail prices.

Overall a good place to stop just to see. It's decently organized and new things come in all the time.”
