The selection at Thygesen is really impressive and the store is packed full of equipment for all sports. Great experience for people who came to find hockey skates, ice skates, basketball, lacrosse, snowshoe, softball or pickball gear. The friendly guy and wonderful people give extremely helpful, kind and insightful service. Quality goods and exceptional variety are available at a decent price, to buy online or in the clean and tidy inside of the building. Sharpened blades, comfortable skates and new equipment wound up for a try on experience. Family owned business feels like family and makes you feel grateful to support a local gem in the community. The store looks deceiving from the outside but inside is awesome and clean.
Charlie was incredibly helpful in finding a great pair of skates and a stick for men’s league hockey. I had no idea what I was looking for, but he went above and beyond to find me what I needed at a reasonable price. I’ll definitely be back!

Great experience in the store. Came to find hockey skates, and we had an excellent try on experience, and wound up with really comfortable skates. The building looks so deceiving from the outside, but it is packed full of equipment for all sports. Wonderful find, so glad we came here.
